How are you? I hope you are fine. I think the weather is a little better now. I haven't shared anything in the Movies and TV Shows community for about a month. I shared the last movie called Mindhunter and now I want to share this beautiful but different movie called "The Menu". When you start watching this movie called "The Manu" or when you start reading this article that I wrote about it, you will realize how different it is. I want to put the trailer of this movie here.

First of all, there is something you need to know that the director of this movie is Mark Mylod. If you have watched Shameless and liked it, then I think you will like this movie too. There is only one difference, and it seems that you will not understand exactly what kind of movie this movie is. Is it tension? I don't know if it's horror or action. But I call it a thriller because some scenes of the movie sparked my curiosity so much that I couldn't predict what was going to happen. I thought, I think this movie is more in the thriller category.

One of the biggest fans of world-renowned chef Julian Slowik, Tyler is one of the rare people who are entitled to go to a restaurant on an island. Other people who qualify to go to that restaurant are three bankers, one actor, and a few more wealthy people. Each of these people pays 1250 dollars to taste the food one night at this restaurant. So actually, you can understand from here that Chief Slowik is truly a world-renowned chef and is very different from the others.

Chef Slowik, who can be called the main character of the movie, was born in a poor family and chose cooking as a profession. But Slowik, who does his job really well, is also someone with dark thoughts. This is where the best part of the movie starts. In fact, in this movie, we see what Chief Slowik wants to do and, in a way, his impulses. Slowik has urges to be grandiose, to kill, to control. For us, this is something that actually makes this film even more beautiful and full of tension.

Slowik owns a restaurant called Hawthorne on an island, and everything served at this restaurant is grown on this island where this restaurant is located. After all, when you watch the movie, the people who go to that restaurant are not normal people, but the kind of people we can call gourmets. And the food served to these people is not like a meal in any restaurant we go to. Frankly, if I eat this kind of food, I don't understand exactly what it is.

Tyler and Margot are the other two actors that we can call the lead roles in this movie. These two aren't actually together in the way they thought they were, but they're going to Hawthorne together. Margot has a slightly rebellious and different personality, which actually sets her apart from everyone else in the restaurant. And as time goes on in the movie, you will understand Margot's actions and courage. Tyler is a bit blind because of his passion and admiration for Slowik and what he does.

In this movie, I actually see Slowik as a kind of psychological maniac. Yes, people may be committed to their work with passion and desire, but this does not mean that we do harm to other people while doing our work. But actually since this is a movie, I like the way it is. Because in movies, such people are actually people who increase both the tension and the quality of the movie. As a person who likes thrillers, I really liked this movie, but to be honest, I was expecting a different ending...

Ben bu filmde aslında Slowik' i bir tür psikolojik manyak olarak görüyorum. Evet insanlar işlerine tutku ve istek ile bağlı olabilirler ama bu aslında bizim işlerimizi yaparken diğer insanlara zarar vermemizi gerektirmiyor. Ama aslında bu bir film olduğu ben böyle olmasını daha çok seviyorum. Çünkü filmlerde bu tür insanlar aslında hem gerilimi hem de filmin kalitesini oldukça arttıran insanlardır.
