SICK (2023) Blood, persecution and Covid-19

What I loved most about this movie, were the chases and jumpscares, you can feel a strong tension once the battle begins; along with a great rising anxiety that embraced me every time. The movie made me put myself in the situation of the protagonists, and I could feel all that panic, adrenaline, and instinct to survive the clutches of a psychopath. I was also pleased that the story was concise; without a lot of unnecessary filler that adds nothing to the plot and with the right amount of characters. It seems to me that it is rightly elevated to make a great movie; sometimes simple is best. The performances, especially from the lead girls, were very good, as they stimulated all these feelings I mentioned above. Something I forgot to emphasize, was the reference it has with Screamwhen the stalker killer writes the same text message to Tyler and Parker: You Wanna Party?, I found that so hilarious, although I started to realize it minutes after watching the movie.

Review: Episode 1 and 2 | The Last of Us

After that they introduce us to Joel the main act represented by Actor Pedro Pascal, who was dedicated to the construction with his friend, at that time they also show us his daughter who was at the neighbors' house when the alarms that some great Magnitude was happening in the country, so it immediately goes Joel to rescue her in the middle of the city that was made a chaos. People were running through the streets and cars went at full speed everywhere, this because the fungi contagion between all citizens had begun. Finishing this scene they reach a point without escape where they find an armed man who did not know if they were infected, so without thinking much, he shoots and ends up killing Joel's daughter.

Hacia las estrellas | Review

I always ask this question about the film, why should I watch AD ASTRA? If you are a viewer who likes psychological drama, I invite you to see the filming, but remember that it is heavy, that from the beginning you know what the purpose is. Although it looks like Gravity, the theme is different because here the silent whirlwind is the character. There are crazy ideas in the story for Roy McBride to demonstrate his capabilities and the reason for being there. I liked it, the director's effort to cohere the theme, to use the journey to heal and promote reunion, you draw your conclusions. The film is an existential introspective adventure that demands transformation from the subject, that is the proposal. The film also draws the beliefs of the astronauts, fear and territorial power, are behaviors that human beings cannot hide anywhere, but the protagonist knows how to deal with them so that the story exists; on the other hand, the director shows that where there is man there is aggression and ambition behavior above the others. In short, we all at some point were or will be Roy McBride, each one, from his space, either in an inordinate or restrained way to define or understand who you are.

SHIVA BABY | Review

I can't comment much about the movie because the whole scene takes place in one place and to say more becomes a total spoiler, but I feel like it's something everyone should give it a try. And what happens is that it seems to me that it is something different from what I am used to, which for me makes it good, seeing the situations that Danielle gets into makes you feel that you are sweating too, that you feel that you are ready of being captured, you feel nervous, they say it's black humor, it seems more ironic to me. This film shows us much more than a simple comedy, it also covers deep issues such as religion, by this I mean hypocrisy, also misogyny, they also talk about sexuality a bit, all these issues are present but they make them pass off as if it wasn't a big deal. Danielle's character really goes through such embarrassing situations, that it makes you want to run away from there or at least that's what I would have done in the first place, in addition to also having to endure constant criticism from people, starting with her parents.

Review || Pinocho de Guillermo del Toro ✨ || Netflix movie 2022

The movie also shows us that the story is set in his native Italy, since originally our characters are from there, with the only difference that at the moment we live right in times of war, something that will undoubtedly cause very unfortunate hits and that will mark the thread of the plot. And why do I say this, because after this will come Pinocchio, and with him many adventures, mysteries and problems to live and to be solved. Just as a warning, and that I would have liked to have known before seeing the film is that it touches very sensitive issues on an emotional level, and by this I mean the value of life and death. A story that will undoubtedly leave a nice lesson or reflection, not only in understanding the cycle of life but also to understand the degree of severity that lies can cause, for those who know, one of the greatest characteristics of Pinocchio, besides being a wooden boy, was his effect after lying... his nose grew without stopping, a clear evidence that lies are difficult to hide and that sooner or later they will be known, they hurt and do not do us any good.

🎥REVIEW PELÍCULA ANIMADA SING 🎙

I have always liked animated movies, recently I saw this movie circulating its cover everywhere and one character in particular caught my attention, the little pig, her face made me want to see the movie, I confess I was afraid it would be a musical, that is, that everything would be songs, lyrics after lyrics and no movie, but I took a chance, I turned on the TV, I put Netflix and to my surprise I found a wonderful animated production that entertained me, made me laugh, have feelings of love, friendship, even action, the best.

The Korean series that will surprise you (Based on a True Story)- THE GLORY PART 1

I love that from the beginning there is so much mystery of what is going to happen, we are quite clear that there will be revenge, but we do not know what other repercussions or events will come to light for our beautiful Moon, besides that all of us have been delighted Jo Yeo Jung (Lee Do-hyun) and Ha Do Young (Jeong Seong-il) because as in any k-drama the female audience will always say "I like the doctor better or I like the businessman" and in this story it is not about who Moon will stay with because from the beginning it was made clear that there is no love story (at least on Moon's part).
For both characters I would like to see much more of their personal history in Part 2, because they have left many loose ends regarding the true intentions of the two (I have zero doubts about the doctor's possible mental state but about the other we don't know there are many fan theories regarding the two).
