Here I want to cover two things, the animation and the action of the film, on the one hand, the animation of the characters, the fluidity, the beauty of the scenery and the friendly way in which all the scenes of the film look incredible, I would even dare to say that it is better animation than many current films and we must take into account that this film was released almost 16 years ago. Hand in hand with the animation, is the action, no doubt we see many fights, many combat techniques and this in a way is quite entertaining, because for someone like me who does not have much idea about martial arts was very stimulating and made me want to see more content related to this, so the fights are very fluid and very realistic to see.

I want to leave my summary here, because it is a film that you have to see, I do not want to give more details, because it is a film that gives you goosebumps, without lying my eyes filled with tears as I relived many events that marked my adolescence , the crude reality that we have experienced has no words to explain it, the nostalgia of a simple song that reminds you of “good times”, the crudeness and torture of the authorities, and the great sadness that fills all Venezuelan families that is “me I am going for a better future” where our friends and family have had to leave and the rest of us are here, surviving with what we can… at this moment the situation is a bit critical so perhaps that is why it continues to hit hard to see how our day by day is a movie, because yes, reality a thousand times surpasses fiction. But this amazing film is not only about characters as we commented at the beginning, it is also about the film effects that caused a revolution with its innovative cinematography, use of deep focus, sequence shots and fragmented narrative. I applaud the director's choice to keep this representation for the film and although it has commercial consequences for the film because many viewers will not see this just because they don't like spiders or what they consider ugly animals, what is important for the story is the message and although everything would be easier with a kitten or a puppy, the story requires the spider.

In that sense science fiction won, I say this because when you analyze the whole story with a cool head you can notice things that were not in sight because of the immediate context, but it is evident how this series presents a satire against providence, or rather its control over humanity, just like another series that I am watching and will review later. But at this point we have men who can rule their destiny through good deeds, that way they managed to survive death, those who did wrong died while those who helped others survived, their heart was weighed in the balance and their good deeds saved them.

Martin Scorsese's direction is virtually flawless, bringing a dynamic pace to the unfolding plot without resorting to unnecessary shots to impress, but rather keeping it simple and effective, with a very classic style that at times evokes the early cinematic works of John Ford. Scorsese demonstrates a masterful command of depth of field in the outdoor scenes and presents the scenes with great elegance, such as the memorable entrance of the protagonists into the courtroom. His direction is distinguished by its sobriety and his ability to bring out the essence of each scene in a powerful way.

The setting and the way they presented this short documentary is very good, working every detail so that it could look very real, detailed and that people can realize that the world of cryptocurrencies is not easy and you have to be alive. In addition, other aspects that we do not realize is the group of scammers and how they communicate with each other, how they live their lives quietly and without making any mistakes and this is where the most pile and faster takes everything, therefore, it is an impressive thing what is behind a money scam, cryptocurrency or anything today.

One of the scenes that I liked the most is when she accidentally falls off the ferry and he, not knowing how to swim very well, jumps in to rescue her, they end up floating on a buoy and they both come clean with each other, finally they put their pride aside and Ben confesses that he felt very hurt when she left and apologizes for what he said, since he didn't really think that of her; she confesses to him that that night for her had been special and also apologizes for leaving, and even confesses to him that she had turned back when she realized her mistake, they both look into each other's eyes and connect again. Notice how a 5 minute conversation, changes all the anger, disappointment and sadness they had felt for a whole year, just for the simple fact of leaving things like that without any explanation, and a simple misunderstanding changes everything.

The thing is that destiny is something unequivocal, that although it can take different paths in the end it returns to its course, of course, here it leaves her a lesson or several key points. In a way, at the beginning I felt a little strange to see a mature Lindsay Lohan, but as the movie went on I adapted and accepted that even with her new face, she still plays an excellent role in this kind of movies.

This film is one of those that I did not want to see, but if you are given the choice between "Madame Web" and this film, there is no doubt that I would choose this film which I had not seen negative or positive opinions and that made me create the expectation that at least meets to be entertaining and I can say that at the moment it is, more specifically, its second act is entertaining, the cost of production is noticeable and it is more than anything by a correct use of CGI, something very contrary to what was seen in the third act and final, where the scenery, animation and lighting are very poor, you can see the false and anticlimactic.
