Damsel: The Lie and the Truth from Fantasy | Film Review

It is about the integrity of the human being in terms of lying, to deceive someone innocent, and to sacrifice him without having the guilt of a whole plot that was woven for years and in which that innocent being, had nothing to do, much less, have any responsibility. Damsel is the story of Elodie (played by actress Millie Bobby Brown from Stranger Things and Enola Holmes), who, in my opinion, performs an excellent role in this character.

Around this central event several interesting things happen, on the way they pass over a dead man, initially they don't take him into account but later on he becomes indispensable in the development of the story. The ball takes place with total normality, the prince rejects Cinderella's stepsisters, who are not at all ugly compared to the original, decides to dance with Cinderella and in the middle of the ball comes the bad news to the king, his stylist has been murdered.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live/ Review

I can say that the series exceeded my expectations because we see how a man so hard on Rick managed to be let's say dominated by the people or society that kept him trapped and how Michonne, after a series of events finds him and must fight to restore the mind of the man she loves, as it has been broken, not to mention that as a father and husband, and having lost his first wife and son May, he puts the safety and happiness of his family before his own.

🎬🎞️Venezuelan cinema - A news story that went around the world [review]🎬🎞️-

It may not have been the right decision or action, but what could I do? Even before all the scandal that the news from Brazil meant, I said "Mr. Camacho, although absurd because everything is always known, at least he had a feasible solution to what was happening", but thinking rationally, I think that all that fuss was not necessary and the regulatory principles would have been followed, such as taking her to the dispensary or announcing it to the authorities, even if it was a Sunday holiday. Even the priest could have been warned; now, if they did, there was no film 😜.

HomeTown Cha Cha Cha

One of the standout aspects of this film is its charming and well developed characters. Shin Min-a shines as Yoon Hye-jin, bringing warmth and sincerity to her role as a city dweller adjusting to small town life to gain the trust of the village dwellers. Kim Seon-ho's portrayal of Hong Du-sik is equally captivating, with his affable nature and hidden depths.

Don´t breathe (Review without spoilers)

It's incredible how it plays with your mind until it culminates in a shocking outcome, something elaborate but that provides a perfect closure for a horror story that had been unfolding for our protagonists for some time. The epic plot twist at the end was traumatizing and reflects the most extreme madness of the human being.

Remarriage and Desires K-drama Review | Deseos VIP

https://images.hive.blog/DQmXFnyxYtLsRHphG862iRTijzTSme4YsbssiMjSYUpT4fJ/Remarriage_&_Desires_Cover%20(1).jpg

The story has a lot of drama, it is not so romantic although in the end it shows its touch. The real plot is about revenge. Both women meet again by chance at an agency that acts as a mediator in marriages, one is there by mistake and the other because she is greedy because she wants to climb to the top step of society. Once these women meet, they both try to make life impossible for themselves and in the middle of all this there is the agency and a millionaire man, the struggle of these women seems to destroy everything.

The Maze Runner | Review

A saga that achieved a great impact and many were surprised to see the high level of quality and plot that has each of the films, although it took some time to be released on television to make it easier to view, they were available on certain platforms and thus to enjoy The Maze Runner, I also remember a part where I was in a maze and without knowing what it was I was just watching to see if they found a way out, being things of great impact. In addition, this is a saga that can be a call to action for humanity, since one knows if at any time something like that or a lethal virus that causes the death of many people will happen and it is here where this production introduces us to young people to find the cure.

Throw reality in my face (romantic movies).

Over the years, it has been very interesting to follow how world cinema has dealt with love in its most complex nature (colors, shapes and genres). Even though the balance of equity is still far from what would be ideal, it is of fundamental importance to understand the advances made so far. The world is plural, and cinema already has a clearer view of this (in fact it always has, but it has never explored it in a more appropriate way).

DC's Constantine and the Catholic Doctrine: Reel Vs. Real Life

But of course looking through my newly "religion enhanced" eyes, I see a lot of things that devout Catholics would not agree with. Yes folks, of course it is a fictional person in a fantasy world so it's only natural there are differences with real life.

Strong Girl Nam-Soon (2023) || Sub-Par At Best?

There were too many side-plots and unnecessary scenes that failed to add anything substantial to the drama as a whole. I get the usual comic sounds and play at comedy that is typical for Korean Drama but this one fell short for me. The gluttonous brother and spineless (literally) Uncle while enjoyable in the first few episodes, became less funny with the constant repetition. Sub-par to a fault.

Fermat no Ryori review

I liked almost everything about this series, even if perhaps in some moments I found some characters a little unpleasant but I loved the parts dedicated to cooking! A delicious and fragrant series like a beautiful dish, sometimes with a sweet flavour, others strong and sometimes bitter. For me I rate 8. Then an extra point should be given just because the cute Takahashi Fumiya stars in it.
