Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.

The Details

Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject.

There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and five or more posts will be chosen frequently.

Review: CODA | A Film That Teaches You About the Deaf Community and Sign Language

Although I have not seen the original version, this specific one stands on its own because of a very genuine and emotional approach. The plot begins to unfold in a way that makes us connect deeply with each member of the family, especially Ruby, who is torn between her family responsibilities and her personal aspirations. It is evident the emotional burden this girl has, she wakes up early every morning to help her family as much as she can in their business, before going to school... where she faces the typical difficulties of a teenager. The acting is very good, I feel she managed to convey very well the mix of love, frustration, and determination of her character.. and well, she not only deals with her family, as I said, she has her own fears and insecurities about her musical talent, and this affects her a lot too.

Silent Hill (Review without spoilers)

Silent Hill is one of my favorite horror movies. I don't know much about the video game. I played it once but the old one didn't appeal to me much, so I will focus more on what I saw in the big screen production even though many compared and said that the game is better, but for me, the movie surpasses it by far.

A review of THE LORD OF THE RINGS.

The movie expresses middle earth and the species living within it but it has been done so greatly that it feels like a whole universe being built in there. If you watch the movie the distance from shire (FRODO'S PLACE) to MORDOR (SAURON'S PLACE) is not so much or it seems like. But still the placement of events and actions between travelling shows it like they travelled a whole universe to cover that distance.

Random thoughts after watching "House of the Dragon" for the first time.

At the beginning, I was amazed at how the director made the impossible scene realistic. The dragon looked so real, especially if they were flying, riding by the owner, or blowing a fire. The black horses, the castles, the costumes, and the extra people make me think of how much it costs them to put in the effort just to make this series successful.

Review Korean Drama: 30 But 17

To be honest, when I watched a movie or drama, I first look who's the cast. At this time, I watched this drama because Shin Hye Sun. I first time watched her drama entittled, She was Pretty. Even though she was not a main lead, I like her acting. Then I saw her on My Last Angel, she is played a blind girl, which is her acting was suit for her, then I addicted with her dramas. That is why I watched 30 But 17.

MOVIE REVIEW: “The Tiger's Apprentice” (2024)

The script's major flaw is precisely the reliance on a frenetic pace of adventures to try to infect the public with an execution of elements that mixes technical aspects very well, such as its digital effects and its soundtrack, amidst the lines, shapes and vibrant colors that dominate the screen at all times. However, the lack of a more immersive approach to character development is something that is really missing from the idea.

Review ||DESAPARECIDOS EN LA NOCHE|| Netflix Thriller Movie (2024)

**The title can also be interpreted in several ways, making us believe that the story goes more towards the paranormal than the criminal side, being the human being the author of everything that happened. First we have Riccardo Scamarcio and Annabelle Wallis, the protagonist couple going through a divorce apparently by agreement and convenience, so far so good, but what happens when in this process occurs an unexpected and mysterious abduction and sudden disappearance of two children, their children, which will trigger an unpleasant adventure for the father and for this reason, his wife does not take custody of him. The real question is... who are our enemies, who are our friends? And do we really know those around us?
