RE: Finally finished "The Office" (USA version): Parting is such sweet sweet sorrow

in Movies & TV Shows6 months ago

One of the things I did in pandemic was to watch in order many episodes of The Office, I watched all of them up to the moment Steve Carel left the series, then I watched a few and then I went to the two final episodes.

The only thing that I don't know if it's something negative or strange, is that when I finished watching this series and felt the nostalgia that there won't be another episode, I never had the need to watch the original series and to this day I keep it that way.

I don't think I will intentionally go back and watch them again. We are spoiled for choice these days and there isn't much reason to really do that with anything. I think in many ways that attempting to recreate your original glee associated with any show can be a bad idea. I have gone back to rewatch series I really enjoyed as a child only to realize that by today's standards, they are pretty terrible.
