Norma Jeane (Mortenson) Baker, born June 01, 1926, better known as Marilyn Monroe, an actress, singer and beauty model, the sexiest woman in the world, who could not know about her when today still her image is still running through social networks, her name is very famous worldwide, her life, her natural beauty, everything she showed was really amazing, but we can not avoid that just as her name brings to mind that famous pose of the white dress in which the air exposed her legs, so when we hear her name we identify it with the word suspense, suicide or homicide.

I have always been interested in the history of this woman, who she was, her origins, her life, what her last moments were like, what her death was really like, but to be honest I have never been satisfied with any public document, any published review, the news of that time that we still find on the internet, nor any documentary about the life of Marilyn Monroe that I can say I have been totally satisfied with.

For that reason, as soon as the Netflix platform released this April the new and last, so far, Marilyn Monroe documentary, I immediately gave clip and started watching it, I had several interruptions which made me watch it in two days, I can not deny that the recordings and tapes caught my attention too much, so I put it back and repeat the parts where I left the documentary and paid attention to every scene I was watching.

I can't deny that it did fill part of my curiosity for this famous character, it is worth mentioning that it is based on the last moments of Marilyn Monroe's life, specifically the day of her death, August 4, 1962, and the people she spent time with, her most epic moments, what she went through, narrated by the people closest to her at the time. Unfortunately there were many narrators who could only tell very limited information, despite all the years that have passed, I was hoping that something really important would change in all that they have been narrating and investigating about her death, about those last moments of her life.

Norma Jeane (Mortenson) Baker, nacida el 01 de Junio de 1926, mejor conocida como Marilyn Monroe, una actriz, cantante y modelo de belleza, la mujer más sexy del mundo, quién no podría saber de ella cuando hoy en día aún su imagen sigue corriendo por las redes sociales, su nombre es muy famoso a nivel mundial, su vida, su belleza tan natural, todo lo que mostraba era realmente asombroso, pero no podemos evitar que así como su nombre nos trae a la mente aquella famosa pose del vestido blanco en el que el aire dejó al descubierto sus piernas, así también al oír su nombre lo identificamos con la palabra suspenso, suicidio o homicidio.

Siempre me ha llamado la atención la historia de esta mujer, de quién fue ella, de sus orígenes, de su vida, de lo que fueron sus últimos momentos, de cómo fue su muerte realmente, pero para serles sinceros nunca me ha llenado o saciado la curiosidad algún documento público, alguna reseña publicada, las noticias de esa época que aún encontramos en internet, ni ningún documental sobre la vida de Marilyn Monroe al que yo puedo decir que he quedado totalmente satisfecha.

Por esa razón, apenas la plataforma de Netflix estrenó en este mes de Abril el nuevo y último, hasta los momentos, documental de Marilyn Monroe, inmediatamente le di clip y lo comencé a ver, tuve varias interrupciones lo cual me hizo que lo viera en dos días, no les puedo negar que lo de las grabaciones y las cintas llamó demasiado mi atención, por eso lo volvía a poner y repetir las partes donde dejaba el documental y presté atención a cada escena que iba viendo.

No les puedo negar que sí llenó parte de mi curiosidad por este famoso personaje, cabe destacar que se basa en los últimos momentos de vida de Marilyn Monroe, específicamente el día de su muerte, el 04 de Agosto de 1962, y de las personas con las que ella pasó, de sus momentos más épicos, de lo que ella atravesó, narrado por las personas más allegadas a ella en ese momento. Lastimosamente hubieron muchos narradores que sólo pudieron decir información muy limitada, pese a todos los años que han pasado esperaba que algo realmente importante cambiara en todo lo que han venido narrando e investigando sobre su muerte, sobre esos últimos momentos de su vida.

I always feel very helpless when I watch a documentary about her, because I feel from the first time I read her story, that something very important is missing, I feel that her story is told like a puzzle in which evidently several important pieces are missing. There is a lot of delicate, hidden information, which is what makes me doubt if what has been narrated until today is as true as what we have been seeing and reading.

I believe that after 60 years, the mystery of her death has still not been given the true case closed, and there are even things of her private life that are not really official, true, most of her story is told by witnesses, close people and people who according to them have always been investigating about her since her beginnings, but being her such a famous character, we do not know to what extent what we know today about her is real or false.

I love documentaries, I love real facts and more when they contain great mysteries, doubts, when there are political people involved, when some reporters voices have been silenced, when it is notorious the information they hide, it is something that calls my attention, something that I really like to analyze, investigate, read, that is why I did not miss the opportunity to see this documentary where they show us recordings that had never been heard before, but where you still do not hear everything.

I don't even know if this documentary has left me a little more satisfied than the previous ones or if it has increased my curiosity to know more or if it has left me with much more intrigue than before, because assuming that the tapes and everything that is said is true, the story that we have always heard about Marilyn Monroe may be true to some extent. But in my personal opinion I feel that there is more to it, I also feel that this documentary was released with the sole motive of continuing to cover up the truth.

Siempre me da mucha impotencia al ver algún documental sobre ella, ya que siento desde la primera vez que leí su historia, que falta algo muy importante, siento que su historia es contada como un rompecabezas el cual evidentemente le han faltado varias piezas importantes. Hay mucha información delicada, oculta, que es lo que me hace dudar de si lo narrado hasta el día de hoy es tan cierto como lo hemos venido viendo y leyendo.

Creo que después de 60 años aún no se le ha dado el verdadero caso cerrado al misterio de su muerte, he incluso hay cosas de su vida privada que no son realmente oficiales, verídicas, la mayoría de su historia es narrada por testigos, personas cercanas y personas que según han estado investigando siempre sobre ella desde sus inicios, pero siendo ella un personaje tan famoso no sabemos hasta qué punto es real o falso lo que conocemos hoy en día de ella.

Amo los documentales, amo los hechos reales y más cuando encierran grandes misterios, dudas, cuando hay gente política de por medio, cuando algunas voces reporteras han sido calladas, cuando es notorio la información que esconden, es algo que llama mucho mi atención, algo en lo que realmente me gusta analizar, investigar, leer, es por eso que no perdí la oportunidad de ver este documental donde nos muestran grabaciones que nunca antes habían sido escuchadas, pero donde aún no se escucha todo.

Incluso no sé si este documental me ha dejado un poco más satisfecha que los demás anteriores o ha aumentado mi curiosidad de saber más o si me ha dejado con mucha más intriga que antes, pues suponiendo que las cintas y todo lo que se dice sea cierto, la historia que siempre hemos venido oyendo de Marilyn Monroe puede llegar a ser cierta hasta cierto punto. Pero en mi opinión personal siento que hay más, siento también que dicho documental fue lanzado con el único motivo de seguir tapando la verdad.

What if all those recordings turned out to be rehearsed? We really cannot know how much truth or lie there is in all this documentary, the only thing I can assure you is that it has been a very well recorded documentary, with excellent cinematographic scenes, all very well organized and also, in it, we can see some beautiful and important moments of Marilyn Monroe's life.

I feel that in this documentary there are people who, because they are close to Marilyn Monroe or have a certain bond or connection to her, took certain attributes by mentioning very personal things that really let us see another Marilyn Monroe, a weak woman who did not know how to overcome her obstacles. Of course she had them, she had her personal problems out of the spotlight, she had many frustrations for dreams that she could not fulfill during her life, plus the weight of fame that undoubtedly is a big bill that sooner or later you have to pay, despite all that she lived before fame, the only thing that makes me think is how strong that woman had to be to face everything that happened throughout her life.

But evidently I believe that after her death there are many uncertain things that have not been told yet, they have covered up names perhaps because of the political power that in her time she had and that if it has not come to light it has been only to not adulterate or damage the long political history of the United States, which we know is full of hidden truths that have been happening for many years as in all countries worldwide since the world is world.

The truth of the matter is that in spite of everything, of my feelings about all this history, of what I have written, I have loved watching this documentary, in spite of feeling that it lacks the most important pieces, I feel that its writing, the characters, the way in which everything happens, fills it with much more suspense and entertainment. It is a documentary that can easily grab you in the moment. I highly recommend it and if you haven't seen it I hope you manage to put it on your list of documentaries to watch. ¿Y si todas esas grabaciones resultaran ser ensayadas? Realmente no podemos saber cuánta verdad o mentira hay en todo este documental, lo único que sí les puedo asegurar que ha sido un documental muy bien grabado, con unas escenas cinematográficas excelentes, todo muy bien organizado y que además, en el, podemos observar algunos bellos e importantes momentos de la vida de Marilyn Monroe.

Siento que en este documental hay personas que por ser cercanas o tener cierto vínculo o conexión hacía Marilyn Monroe, se tomaron ciertos atributos al mencionar cosas muy personales y que realmente nos dejan ver a otra Marilyn Monroe, una mujer débil que no supo superar sus obstáculos. Por su puesto que los tenía, tenía sus problemas personales fuera de los focos, tenía muchas frustraciones por sueños que no podía cumplir durante su vida, más el peso de la fama que sin duda es una factura grande que tarde o temprano debes pagar, pese a todo lo que ella vivió antes de la fama, lo único que me hace pensar es en lo fuerte que tuvo que ser esa mujer para afrontar todo lo que pasó durante toda su vida.

Pero evidentemente creo que tras su muerte hay muchas cosas inciertas que no han sido contadas aún, han tapado nombres quizá por el poder político que en su tiempo lo tuvo y que si no ha salido a la luz ha sido sólo para no adulterar o dañar la larga historia política de los Estados Unidos, la cual sabemos está llena de verdades ocultas que han venido ocurriendo desde muchos años atrás como en todos los países a nivel mundial desde que el mundo es mundo.

Lo cierto del caso que muy a pesar de todo, de mis sensaciones sobre toda esta historia, de lo que haya escrito, me ha encantado ver este documental, a pesar de sentir que le faltan las piezas más importantes, siento que su redacción, los personajes, la manera en que es transcurrido todo, lo llena de mucho más suspenso y entretenimiento. Es un documental que fácilmente te puede atrapar en el momento. Lo recomiendo y si no lo han visto espero que logren colocarlo en su lista de documentales por ver. ¡Hasta la próxima mis amores! 💋
