¡Que tal gente! Espero que estén muy muy bien, acá les traigo un review sobre este tercer capítulo de The Last of Us dónde nos encontramos con contenido original, con esto quiero decir que no es contenido sacado de los videojuegos, nos colocan en un contexto donde Bill y Frank está ves, si lograron estar juntos. Para los que conocemos el juego sabemos que esto representa un gran cambio con respecto a la historia, algunas personas podría molestarle, pero honestamente creo que fue una exelente decisión porque este capítulo por lo menos a mi, me llegó al corazón e incluso podría decir que me conmovió AUN MAS porque ya jugué el juego. Sin más que decir comencemos.
Está reseña contiene spoilers, este capítulo comienza con Joel afectado por lo ocurrido con Tess, Ellie intenta hablar sobre eso pero Joel solo la ignora y quiere avanzar para llegar tan pronto como sea posible con Bill, en el camino descubrimos la atracción un poco macabra que tiene Ellie hacia la violencia, se nos da indicios de esto a lo largo de estos 3 episodios, ya que ella siempre pregunta por armas y le dice a Joel que todos sus actos violentos son 'cool', particularmente se encuentra con un infectado atrapado en escombros y a mi parecer opino que se divirtió mientras hacía lo que todos sabemos 👀.
Por cierto me encantaría resaltar el INCREIBLE TRABAJO de maquillaje que implementaron en los infectados, simplemente espectacular 10/10.
En el camino a casa de Bill nos topamos con una escena que nos hace regresar al pasado, cuando inició el brote está ves desde el punto de vista de Bill, este era uno de esos locos que creen en las conspiraciones,que el presidente es reptiliano y ese tipo de cosas, por ello logra evitar la evacuación de su pueblo y se convierte en el único habitante de todo un poblado, maestro en supervivencia coloca trampas en un perímetro para asegurar la zona, al paso de los años un sujeto cae en una de estas trampas y si es quien están pensando, Frank, aquí se nos introduce a Frank por primera vez, en el juego nunca nos lo presentan (vivo),la manera en que se desarrolla la relación de Bill y Frank a mi parecer es muy acertada, natural, para nada forzado e igualmente como que nos dan ciertos indicios muy discretos de que eso pasara, ya que si damas y caballeros, nuestro amigo Bill por muy rudo y agresivo que sea le gusta el calor de los hombres.
Tenemos varios saltos temporales en el capítulo para representarnos los años de prosperidad que tuvieron estos personajes y los momentos más relevantes que tuvieron. Quiero recalcar que tengo dos puntos de vista sobre esta relación, el primero es el que ya comenté y el segundo es que Bill no estaba del todo seguro de lo que le gustaba por comentarios que hizo en el capítulo, y es por eso que está escena tiene tanto peso.
Por favor cuando lo vean me comentan que piensan ustedes.
Luego entra en escena la Tess y el Joel de épocas anteriores haciendo una introducción a como estos se conocieron y comenzaron a traficar cosa por intereses comunes,Bill nunca estuvo de acuerdo con la idea pero lo dejaba pasar porque no eran malas personas y Joel le advirtio sobre cosas que iban a pasar,él entendía que si los podría llegar a necesitar en algún momento, nunca lo demostró, pero lo entendía.
El tiempo sigue pasando las cosas que Joel dijo que pasarían efectivamente pasaron, Bill y Frank lo superaron todo juntos, todas las adversidades que se les presentaron digamos que fueron opacadas por el poder su amor jajaja, les fue tan pero tan bien que llegaron a ancianos y aquí es donde ya la historia está hecha para que nos deprimimos y nos sintamos terribles por esta pareja, nos presentan una realidad de dos personas mayores solas, que se tienen el uno a el otro, sin nadie más, con todo lo que esto conlleva, llegado un punto de la vejez simplemente se les hace muy difícil tener lo que se podría considerar una vida digna, especialmente Frank que nos enteramos que sufre de una enfermedad que lo deja en silla de ruedas, como si la cosa ya no fuera lo suficientemente complicada.
Frank cansado le propone una última aventura a Bill, este primeramente se nos presenta en negación, pero luego es convencido por Frank, pero este sin decirle opta por tomar el mismo destino y así estar juntos siempre.
Ya a partir de aquí regresamos a nuestros protagonistas principales y retomamos la trama del juego en cierto punto.
Me gustaría decir que la manera en que se dirige este capítulo es para que nos duela, para que nos llegue al corazón, porque hay muchas cosas que no dije que hace que nos sintamos más en la piel de estos personajes, que hacen que les tengamos aprecio y no nos duele porque haya pasado una injusticia, llegaron a ancianos juntos, nos duele por como acabo, no acostumbramos a pensar como acabarán las cosas y este capitulo te hace reflexionar mucho sobre eso.
Para mí el momento de más shock, fue cuando se leyó esta carta (no explicaré para que lo vivan ustedes).
Les puedo decir que si no sientes nada, gente, vayan a un psicólogo porque necesitan ayuda 😂😂.
Me pareció magistral la manera en que adaptaron está historia jamás contada sobre Bill y Frank, más aún por como cambiaron el final de estos, recuerden que Frank en el juego, se suicida, deja una nota para Bill y luego no sabemos más sobre Bill, ahora no solamente le dieron un cierre a este personaje, sino que según yo le dieron un final digno y personalmente completamente envidiable, que mueras prácticamente de viejo en un mundo post apocaliptico me parece espectacular jeje.
En fin si les conté por encima el capítulo pero les recomiendo full que lo vean tan pronto puedan porque me salte DEMASIADAS cosas, este es un capítulo de hora y 15 min de duración así que tiene muchísimo más contexto que ver.

What's up people! I hope you are very very well, here I bring you a review of this third chapter of The Last of Us where we find original content, by this I mean that it is not content taken from video games, we are placed in a context where Bill and Frank is you see, if they managed to be together. For those of us who know the game we know that this represents a big change with respect to the story, some people might be annoyed, but honestly I think it was an excellent decision because this chapter at least to me, touched my heart and I could even say that it moved me EVEN MORE because I already played the game. Without more to say let's start.
This review contains spoilers, this chapter begins with Joel affected by what happened with Tess, Ellie tries to talk about it but Joel just ignores her and wants to move forward to get as soon as possible with Bill, on the way we discover the somewhat macabre attraction that Ellie has towards violence, we are given hints of this throughout these 3 episodes, as she always asks for weapons and tells Joel that all her violent acts are 'cool', particularly she encounters an infected trapped in rubble and in my opinion she had fun while doing what we all know 👀.
By the way I would love to highlight the AMAZING make-up WORK they implemented on the infected, simply spectacular 10/10.
On the way to Bill's house we come across a scene that takes us back to the past, when the outbreak began, it is seen from Bill's point of view, this was one of those crazy people who believe in conspiracies, that the president is reptilian and that kind of thing, so he manages to avoid the evacuation of his people and becomes the only inhabitant of an entire village, master in survival places traps in a perimeter to secure the area, Over the years a guy falls into one of these traps and if it is who you are thinking, Frank, here we are introduced to Frank for the first time, in the game we are never presented (alive), the way in which the relationship of Bill and Frank develops in my opinion is very successful, natural, not at all forced and also as we are given some very discreet hints that this will happen, because if ladies and gentlemen, our friend Bill as rude and aggressive as it is likes the warmth of men.
We have several time jumps in the chapter to represent the years of prosperity that these characters had and the most relevant moments they had. I want to emphasize that I have two points of view about this relationship, the first is the one I already commented on and the second is that Bill was not entirely sure what he liked because of comments he made in the chapter, and that is why this scene has so much weight.

Then Tess and Joel from earlier times enter the scene, introducing how they met and began to traffic things for common interests, Bill never agreed with the idea but let it go because they were not bad people and Joel warned him about things that were going to happen, he understood that he might need them at some point, he never showed it, but he understood it.
Time goes on, the things that Joel said would happen did happen, Bill and Frank overcame everything together, all the adversities that came their way were overshadowed by the power of their love hahaha, they did so well that they reached old age and this is where the story is made for us to get depressed and feel terrible for this couple, we are presented with a reality of two elderly people alone, who have each other, with no one else, with all that this entails, reached a point of old age simply makes it very difficult for them to have what could be considered a decent life, especially Frank that we learn that he suffers from a disease that leaves him in a wheelchair, as if the thing was not complicated enough.
Frank, tired, proposes one last adventure to Bill, who at first refuses, but is later convinced by Frank, who, without telling him, chooses to take the same destiny and thus be together forever.
From this point on, we return to our main protagonists and resume the game's plot at a certain point.
I would like to say that the way this chapter is directed is to make us hurt, to touch our hearts, because there are many things that I did not say that makes us feel more in the skin of these characters, that make us have appreciation for them and it does not hurt us because an injustice happened, they got to old people together, it hurts us because of how it ended, we are not used to think how things will end and this chapter makes you reflect a lot about that.
For me the most shocking moment was when this letter was read (I won't explain it for you to live it).
I can tell you that if you don't feel anything, people, go to a psychologist because you need help 😂😂.
I found masterful the way they adapted this never told story about Bill and Frank, even more for how they changed the end of these, remember that Frank in the game, commits suicide, leaves a note for Bill and then we do not know more about Bill, now not only they gave closure to this character, but according to me they gave him a worthy and personally completely enviable ending, that you die practically of old age in a post apocalyptic world seems spectacular to me hehe.
Anyway, I told you about the episode but I fully recommend you to watch it as soon as you can because I skipped TOO MANY things, this is an hour and 15 minutes long episode so it has a lot more context to see.

Great series, I watched the episode last night and I really liked it. I had high expectations with the episode, a reviewer I follow and who had access to the whole season, had said it was a very good episode. Si tienes la oportunidad de verla definitivamente es súper recomendada, más allá de que la trama en si pueda llegar a no gustarte, es la historia de los personajes lo que atrapa

HAHAHHA the truth is that the series itself is not as beautiful or relfexiva how I conveyed it, do not misunderstand me those messages ARE there but you have to dig a lot to get them, does not detract from the fact that it is a spectacular series. Full recommended and haha the ending will blow your mind.
