Un saludo cordial a toda la comunidad Cinéfila ando nuevamente por aquí después de unos días sin publicar, pero full activo interactuando y debatiendo con ustedes en las diversas e interesantes reseñas que podemos encontrar en la comunidad. Tenía ganas el día de hoy de compartir con ustedes algunas recomendaciones, pero me dije a mi mismo que sería genial compartirles mejor una reseña de la película COHERENCE la cual vi por primera vez hace 9 años y que gracias a un viejo amigo en una charla cinéfila la volvimos a poner en la mesa y es que estábamos conversando sobre esas películas que nos explotaron la cabeza ya hace unos años y que le tuviéramos cariño.

Sin duda una de ellas fue la película a la que hago mención y es que para ese tiempo no era muy amante del género, pero mis amigos eran de esos que se toparon con películas super diferentes y aquí es donde se topan con COHERENCE la cual posee una trama sencilla nada complicada que va desde un punto A hasta un punto B con el único detalle que el camino parece ir por direcciones distintas, pero nunca pierde su horizonte.

A warm greeting to all the Cinéfila community, I'm here again after a few days without posting, but full active interacting and debating with you in the diverse and interesting reviews that we can find in the community. Today I wanted to share with you some recommendations, but I told myself that it would be great to share with you a review of the movie COHERENCE which I saw for the first time 9 years ago and thanks to an old friend in a cinephile chat we put it back on the table and we were talking about those movies that exploded our heads a few years ago and that we were fond of.

Undoubtedly one of them was the film I mention and at that time I was not very fond of the genre, but my friends were those who came across super different movies and this is where they come across COHERENCE which has a simple plot nothing complicated that goes from a point A to a point B with the only detail that the road seems to go in different directions, but never loses its horizon.

Estamos en el 2022 y películas como estas aún siguen teniendo el mismo peso que esa época le eche un vistazo nuevamente y recordaba cada escena perfectamente lo cual puede que se aburrido para muchos ya que si recuerdas cómo va todo ya no existe asombro y la verdad es que me sigue asombrando como si fuera la primera vez y eso tiene un valor tan importante ya que últimamente me he topado con películas del mismo género que no aportan nada nuevo y mucho menos una pizca de asombro.

🎬 We are in 2022 and movies like this still have the same weight as that time I took a look at it again and remembered every scene perfectly which may be boring for many since if you remember how everything goes there is no more amazement and the truth is that it still amazes me as if it was the first time and that has such an important value since lately I have come across movies of the same genre that do not bring anything new and much less a hint of astonishment.

¡TE LO CUENTO RÁPIDO Y SIN SPOILERS, POR SI AÚN NO LA HAS VISTO!

La película inicia con el típico cliché de la época una cena de amigos en una noche donde algunos tragos y conversaciones íntimas salen a la luz de una forma amistoso como en cualquier cena o almuerzo con amigos con la única diferencia de que esa noche un suceso atmosférico estaba ocurriendo y era el paso de un Cometa que al parecer rodaba una historia interesante con dicho suceso.

La cena inicia los amigos conversan y el chisme y las inseguridades hacen acto de presencia ya sabes donde existe una gran amistad existe un gran viejo amor y eso al parecer es la primicia o por lo menos el foco principal y de donde parte todo y cuando digo todo es todo. La noche transcurre con normalidad hasta que ocurre algo inesperado en todo el lugar se va el servicio eléctrico provocando algo de temor en las mujeres y que tengan que salir averiguar qué es lo que ocurre en ese momento se topan con la sorpresa de que a unos metros otra cosa aún mantiene su servicio eléctrico y un par de amigos decide ir a investigar y ver qué ocurre.

The movie starts with the typical cliché of the time a dinner of friends on a night where some drinks and intimate conversations come to light in a friendly way as in any dinner or lunch with friends with the only difference that night an atmospheric event was happening and it was the passage of a Cometa that apparently rolled an interesting story with that event.

The dinner begins friends talk and gossip and insecurities make an appearance you know where there is a great friendship there is a great old love and that apparently is the scoop or at least the main focus and where everything starts and when I say everything is everything. The night goes by normally until something unexpected happens in the whole place the electric service goes out causing some fear in the women and they have to go out to find out what is happening at that moment they run into the surprise that a few meters away something else still maintains its electric service and a couple of friends decide to go to investigate and see what is going on.

Todo parece ir con normalidad solo una falla eléctrica y que quizás sea resulta rápidamente, pero la atmósfera del lugar se pone tensa cuando una de las chicas comienza hablar sobre algo que pasó hace años con este Cometa donde una serie de acontecimientos ocurrieron haciendo que muchas personas perdieran la memoria de lo que había pasado. Todo se tornó extraño y cada uno dentro de la casa empieza a sacar conclusiones hasta que llega el momento más crítico y es que los amigos que habían salido a buscar ayuda regresan aterrorizados con lo que habían visto lo cual no era posible y que jugaba con su cabeza.

¿Te has visto alguna vez en un espejo? Si es así entiendes lo que ves y no te sorprende ya que es un reflejo de ti mismo en un objeto inanimado, pero cuando te ves a través de la ventana de una casa ¿Qué crees que pasará por tu cabeza? Es aquí donde me detengo y me echo un buen trago de RON a la espera de que sigas leyendo, pero la verdad con más ganas de que vayas y le eches un vistazo a esta película antes que sigas leyendo y si ya la ha visto bueno continua y espero verte en la casilla de comentarios me gustaría conocer tu opinión y quien sabe salga de esto un interesante debate o intercambio de opiniones.

🎬 Everything seems to be going normally, just an electrical failure and that maybe it will turn out quickly, but the atmosphere of the place becomes tense when one of the girls starts talking about something that happened years ago with this Cometa where a series of events occurred causing many people to lose the memory of what had happened. Everything became strange and everyone inside the house starts to draw conclusions until the most critical moment arrives and that is when the friends who had gone out to get help come back terrified with what they had seen which was not possible and that played with their head.

Have you ever seen yourself in a mirror? If so you understand what you see and are not surprised as it is a reflection of yourself in an inanimate object, but when you see yourself through the window of a house what do you think will go through your head? Hace 9 años vi esta película y para ese entonces no era tan buen conocedor como lo soy en este momento y el nivel de experiencia que he adquirido no será el de un experto cinéfilo, pero sí el suficiente para tener la voluntad y sentido común de saber cuando veo una buena película y una muy mala. Mi resumen de la misma es lo suficiente para dejar servida la película ya que hablar más sobre su trama o desarrollo daría pie a una serie de spoilers.

Las películas que juegan con mi cabeza y me ponen ante situaciones donde la incomodidad, tensión, suspenso, ansiedad y ganas de saber mucho más son las que sin duda se llevan mis respetos y es que no todos los filmes logran esto en el espectador y cuando lo consiguen es difícil que te suelten. COHERENCE lo maneja perfectamente y lleva la ficción a otro nivel y no me refiero a sus efectos especiales ya que no contiene ninguno es una película de bajo presupuesto con menos de 10 actores en escena dentro de una casa.

I saw this movie 9 years ago and at that time I was not as knowledgeable as I am now and the level of experience I have acquired will not be that of an expert moviegoer, but enough to have the will and common sense to know when I see a good movie and a very bad one. My summary of it is just enough to leave the film served as talking more about its plot or development would lead to a series of spoilers.

The movies that play with my head and put me in situations where discomfort, tension, suspense, anxiety and desire to know much more are the ones that undoubtedly get my respects and not all films achieve this in the viewer and when they do it is difficult to let go. COHERENCE manages it perfectly and takes fiction to another level and I am not referring to its special effects since it does not contain any, it is a low budget film with less than 10 actors on stage inside a house.

Manejan de forma correcta el recurso de la cámara en mano como si estuvieran grabando un Video al mejor estilo del género found footage no en su máximo esplendor, pero sí en esencia que es lo que hace más íntima la película sin necesidad de tantos equipos la cual la haría falsa por así llamarlo. Es de las mejores películas que he tenido la oportunidad de ver en dos oportunidades con una serie de situaciones que hacen girar tu cabeza por toda la habitación y te ponen a pensar si vivimos nuestra realidad y que si las cosas funcionan dependiendo de las decisiones que tomes puede que tu pasado, futuro y presente se vean afectados en una cadena de acontecimientos que superan la ficción. Me gustaría hablar con más espacio y siento que es de las películas donde no debe existir barreras al momento de hablar de ellas, pero desconozco cuantos de ustedes la han visto y no quiero arruinar una gran experiencia.

En esta oportunidad no te hablaré a detalle o mi opinión directa sobre X o Y personaje ya que en si todo funciona de manera colectiva es decir cada personaje tiene la misma importancia y ninguno sobresale y esto es genial ya que la atención al detalle se multiplica y esto hace que uno como espectador se mantenga al tanto de todo y no solo de un par de personajes.

Cada uno se desarrolla a su tiempo y aunque no conozcamos más de su pasado y presente no hace falta ya que realmente lo que importa en lo que sucede detrás de cada uno de ellos y como la situación hace que se concentren en la infinidad de momentos que harán esa noche una total locura.

🎬 They handle the handheld camera resource correctly as if they were recording a Video in the best style of the found footage genre, not in its maximum splendor, but in essence that is what makes the film more intimate without the need for so much equipment which would make it fake so to speak. It is one of the best movies I have had the opportunity to see twice with a series of situations that make your head spin around the room and make you think if we live our reality and that if things work out depending on the decisions you make can affect your past, future and present in a chain of events that surpass fiction. I would like to talk with more space and I feel that it is one of the movies where there should be no barriers when talking about it, but I don't know how many of you have seen it and I don't want to ruin a great experience.

ACTORS AND THEIR CHARACTERS.

In this opportunity I will not talk to you in detail or my direct opinion about X or Y character because everything works in a collective way that is to say that each character has the same importance and no one stands out and this is great because the attention to detail is multiplied and this makes you as a viewer stay aware of everything and not just a couple of characters.

Each one develops in their own time and even if we don't know more about their past and present we don't need to since what really matters is what happens behind each one of them and how the situation makes them concentrate on the infinite number of moments that will make that night a total madness.

Deben tener en cuenta que es una película del 2013 y por ende quizás lo que veas no te sorprenda ya que quizás lo has visto en otras entregas y eso puede suceder definitivamente. Lo que sí puedo asegurar es que es lo suficientemente entretenida como para que pases 1h 30m relajado en tu sofá con un buen trago de tu bebida favorita y con la seguridad de que quedarás asombrado con lo que verás en pantalla. Obviamente la recomiendo a todo tipo de público no tienes que tener gustos específicos o mucha paciencia para digerir este filme ya que no es pesada, no tiene un ritmo lento al contrario es muy fluido y puede que te topes con situaciones repetitivas, pero déjame decirte que le debes poner el ojo a esas escenas ya que son importantes en todo su esplendor.

🎬 DO I RECOMMEND IT?

You must keep in mind that this is a 2013 movie and therefore maybe what you see won't surprise you since you may have seen it in other installments and that can definitely happen. What I can assure you is that it is entertaining enough for you to spend 1h 30m relaxing on your couch with a good drink of your favorite beverage and with the certainty that you will be amazed with what you will see on screen. Obviously I recommend it to all audiences, you don't have to have specific tastes or a lot of patience to digest this film as it is not heavy, it doesn't have a slow pace on the contrary it is very fluid and you may come across repetitive situations, but let me tell you that you should keep an eye on those scenes as they are important in all their splendor.
