La relación entre los hermanos se vuelven intensas ya que cada uno presenta su punto de vista, uno más analista y viendo lo que las pruebas emiten, mientras que otro más práctico, a través de cálculos que le indican el momento y la manera en cómo ocurriendo las cosas, algo más lógico, preciso y rápido para determinar las causas, motivo y como perseguir al asesina, dando claves más concisas que permitan dar avance a los crímenes, sin detenerse a esperar un papel que de la señal quien es el posible causante, es algo más practico lo cual le permite a Charlie ser un Az sobre la manga del FBI, aunque eso implique diferencias con su hermano Don.

La historia también va enlazando relaciones amorosas con otros personajes, en el caso de Charlie se va haciendo más intenso, y complicando la situación en el trabajo ya que los casos van poniéndose más diversos, además de que se cree que hay un doble agente por lo que el sentirse traicionados será certero y hará que Charlie vaya a la cárcel por un malentendido, ahí su astucia e inteligencia le permitirá mirar los cambios y la oportunidad de salir de ello.

No obstante, el que Charlie pase por ello hace que la intensión de tenerlo cerca sea más importante, su aporte al FBI se vuelve valiosa y necesaria ya que los crímenes no son tan sencillos de aclarar, es una serie que solo conto con 6 temporadas, en la cual el uso de fórmulas matemáticas para no ser vista de manera aburrida durante su transmisión se volvieron algo más sencillo de explicar y razonar en la que no se necesitaría ser un profesor matemático para comprenderlas, sino al contrario, fuese algo que quien lo viera también pudiera entender lo que se buscaba conseguir y lo divertido que pueden llegar a ser los cálculos.
