Saludos de nuevo, cinefilos! Espero se encuentren muy bien y con mucha energía, ya que el día de hoy voy a compartir con ustedes una nueva reseña ya que durante mi tiempo de inactividad en esta plataforma me dedique no sólo a trabajar sino también a retomar mi pasatiempo de ver películas y series, me tomé el atrevimiento de seleccionar las que más me gustaron y escribir sobre ellas así se las recomiendo a los amantes del cine y la TV como yo.
Todos conocemos el impacto y la popularidad que han obtenido los sitios de streaming como Netflix, Amazon Prime o Disney+, y al mismo tiempo también sabemos del boom de la cultura pop coreana lo que incluye los kdramas, yo soy fan del kpop pero no puedo decir lo mismo de los dramas coreanos por lo que esta experiencia fue algo nuevo y diferente y como también soy algo quisquillosa con mis preferencias de cine y TV, deben saber que si les estoy recomendando esta serie es porque genuinamente me encantó, cumplió y superó mis expectativas y me gustaría que la vieran tambien.
No los seguire aburriendo con introducciones, mejor pasemos a los principal.

Sinopsis:
Moon Dong-Eun es una joven de situación económica difícil que sueña con ser arquitecta, pero tiene la desgracia de convertirse en el blanco de maltratos de un grupo de niños mimados de su escuela los cuales le hacen la vida imposible. Más tarde Dong-Eun crece y se convierte en la maestra de la hija de uno de sus victimarios, ella está decidida a vengarse de los que le arruinaron la vida.
¿De que trata la serie?
La historia tiene como protagonista a Dong-Eun, una chica normal con sueños y metas, respetuosa y bien portada que no le hacía daño a nadie y que solo quería estudiar duro para entrar en la escuela de arquitectura. Lamentablemente estos sueños se ven truncados cuando se vuelve el saco de boxeo de un grupo cruel que se dedica a torturar y acosar a un alumno de turno hasta llevarlo al límite.
Dong-Eun soportó este sufrimiento sobre todo a manos de la líder Yeon-Jin hasta que ya no aguantó y terminó dejando los estudios, cancelando así su sueños de convertirse en arquitecta. Sin apoyo de nadie se vio obligada a trabajar por su cuenta para poder comer y tener un sitio donde vivir hasta que pudo aplicar a exámenes provisionales y estudiar para convertirse en maestra.
Podemos pensar que Dong-Eun estaba intentando olvidar su dolor del pasado y seguir con su vida, pero la realidad es que todo esto lo hizo con el propósito de algún día tener acceso a sus acosadores y poder retribuirles todo el daño que le hicieron sin piedad ni duda.
Los personajes
Moon Dong-Eun: Es la protagonista y la víctima de un grupo de acosadores en la secundaria, le hicieron tanto daño físico y psicológico que se vio obligada a dejar la escuela y trabajar a una temprana edad para sobrevivir. Al convertirse en adulta, está decidida a llevar a cabo la venganza que lleva años planeando contra sus acosadores de forma meticulosa y permanente.
Joo Yeo-Jeong: Un doctor, hijo del director de hospital donde Dong-Eun es tratada por un problema de salud, se conocen por casualidad y se enamora de ella. Tiene una personalidad algo inestable y sus propios demonios, luego de saber los traumas de Dong-Eun decide apoyarla en su venganza.
Ha Do-Yeong: El esposo de Yeon-jin y padre de su hija, un hombre de negocios calculador y centrado que no conoce el horrible comportamiento de su esposa. Conoce a Dong-eun por casualidad y se siente interesado en ella, sin saber que todo está planeado para usarlo como peon en su venganza contra Yeon-Jin y de cierta forma abrirle los ojos hacia la mujer que tiene al lado.
Los Acosadores
Park Yeon-Jin: Era la líder del grupo de acosadores y la principal bully de Dong-Eun, hija de una madre adinerada y acostumbrada a que el dinero siempre la sacaría de problemas hacía lo que quería porque nadie la detenía. Al crecer se volvió comentarista del clima para un canal nacional, se caso con un hombre rico y tiene una hija que resulta ser alumna de su antigua víctima.
Jeon Jae-joon: Hijo también de una familia con dinero y poder, no participaba tan activamente en el acoso pero tampoco le importaba lo que sus amigos hicieran solo observaba y se burlaba. Tiene un extraño enamoramiento hacia Yeon-jin casi rozando lo obsesivo y severos problemas de ira, además de sufrir daltonismo lo que lo atormenta. Al crecer hereda el club de golf de su familia y hace negocios ilegales usando el club como fachada.
Lee Sa-ra: Hija de un pastor y proveniente de una familia rica, es desordenada y mimada. También le hizo mucho daño a Dong-Eun junto a los demás y participaba activamente en el acoso. Al crecer se convierte en una artista reconocida con su propia galería, pero tiene un problema grave: es drogadicta.
Song Myeong-oh: Uno de los peores del grupo, acosaba de muchas maneras a Dong-Eun ya sea por daño físico o acoso sexual, la atormentaba de manera horrible, proviene de una familia de clase media. Al crecer se convierte en el subordinado de Jae-joon solo para tener acceso a su dinero y sus lujos, aguantando los malos tratos del mismo.
Choi Hye-jeon: La última miembro del grupo de acosadores y probablemente la peor tratada junto con Myeong-oh, no viene de familia poderosa y es victimaria y víctima a la vez. Esta enamorada de Jae-joon aunque el no la toma en serio y al crecer se convierte en aeromosa, sin embargo, lo que más quiere es ser como Yeon-jin, tener un esposo rico y el amor de Jae-joon por lo que tiene múltiples parejas esperando que alguno cumpla sus sueños.
Trama
La historia es increíblemente cruda, nos muestra como de cruel puede ser la naturaleza humana solo por placer o diversión. Los acosadores de Dong-Eun la lastimaban sólo porque querían y podían y como las personas a su alrededor no hacían nada contra esto, les daban luz verde a hacer cosas incluso peores contra gente inocente, no solo Dong-Eun.

Ahora busca venganza. Han pasado 18 años. El pasado es el pasado ¿cierto?
La serie nos muestra a la través de los ojos de Dong-Eun, que tan lejos puedes empujar a una persona con tu crueldad hasta que no pueda más y se defienda ¿y por que no pidió ayuda? Si lo hizo, varias veces pero de nuevo, esta serie nos muestra la cruel realidad de que muchas veces el dinero o el poder son más fuertes que la justicia y la protagonista tenía que soportar ver como las personas que podían ayudarla decidían darle la espalda por el dinero o la influencia de las familias de Yeon-Jin o Jae-joon.
Otro punto de realismo es la falta de remordimiento de los acosadores, cuando se enteran de que su víctima ha regresado no sienten culpa sino temor de que sus secretos se descubran y sus vidas perfectas se acaben. Aún ven a Dong-Eun como una don nadie, no sienten respeto por nadie, ni sus familias o ellos mismos porque aún tienen el poder de su lado.
La Ironía
Uno pensaría a simple vista que sus vidas son 100% perfectas y felices, pero la realidad es que ellos tienen vidas frágiles y problemáticas. Yeon-Jin no respeta a su esposo y su horrible personalidad sigue exactamente igual que cuando era adolescente, maltrata y abusa de sus empleados igual que antes y usa el dinero para comprar el silencio de las víctimas.

Jae-Joon vive frustrado de que Yeon-Jin esté felizmente casada y tenga una bonita familia y el solo sea "el otro", además de su daltonismo que lo hace sentir un complejo de inferioridad y sus problemas de ira lo hacen una persona imposible de soportar y peligroso. Tiene a Myeong-oh como subordinado o más bien como su esclavo, lo maltrata le recuerda en todo momento que es superior a él, esto a la vez frustra a Myeong-oh que básicamente depende de Jae-Joon y debe aguantar sus maltratos.
Lee Sa-ra sufre de adicción y lleva un estilo de vida horrible de excesos, sus padres siempre la sacan de problemas y nunca la disciplinaron y es tan mala como Yeon-Jin. Se burla constantemente de Myeong-oh y de Hye-Jeon y vive pensando aparentando que es muy educada y responsable.
Hye-Jeon es, además de la protagonista, un personaje muy complejo. Su autoestima es tan baja que deja que los demás la insulten solo para poder llamarse a sí misma "parte del grupo", no dejan de recalcarle que si no tuvieran otras víctimas ella hubiera sido una de ellas. Tiene una obsesión por llevar una vida lujosa, juega con muchos hombres en busca de uno que le resuelva la vida y tiene un amor no correspondido por Jae-Joon que a su vez solo tiene ojos para Yeon-Jin, esto hace que Hye-Jeon la envidie y se sienta aún más inferior.
Mi interpretación
La historia nos cuenta como a veces el olvidar no es tan satisfactorio, y como el superar no es tan fácil. A veces el trauma y la furia están tan grabadas en nosotros que no imaginamos una vida sin sentir esto.
Dong-Eun se aferró a su venganza porque no soportaba la idea de haber perdido su vida y sus sueños a manos de unas personas que tienen vidas fáciles y aparentemente felices, no es justo y ya que los responsables de hacer cumplir la justicia no hicieron nada ella decidió hacer algo por si misma.
No podía evitar sentir empatia por ella, cada episodio era un completo "se lo merecen", lo más interesante es que Dong-Eun se dedica a atormentarlos usando sus propios defectos y secretos contra ellos, no hay jugadas sucias ellos mismos se encargan de destruirse unos a otros y ella solo es la intermediaria, es un completo juego psicológico solo para demostrar que las personas más crueles son las más cobardes.
Los personajes secundarios también tienen una historia profunda, cada quien tiene sus sombras guardadas y que de una forma u otra se intercalan con Dong-Eun y nos muestra la crueldad del ser humano y como a veces olvidar y perdonar no es suficiente. Como hay personas que de verdad no sienten culpa por las cosas que hacen y las secuelas que pueden dejar en una persona.
Moon Dong-Eun no es una heroína, es una persona muy dañada que busca descargar su dolor contra quienes se lo causaron, Yeon-Jin no es una mujer malcriada, es una persona cruel y despiadada que roza la sociopatia es egoísta y no siente respeto por nada ni nadie, ni siquiera su familia. Esta es la realidad que yo entendí. No hay redención, solo retribucion.
¿Por que la recomiendo?
La historia es excelente y muy bien ejecutada, no hay rellenos, ni vacíos todo tiene una respuesta, todo es muy fluido y lleno de detalles necesarios que nos obligan a prestar máxima atención a cada episodio.
Las actuaciones y los personajes son 10/10, los villanos nos dan rabia, la protagonista nos inspira empatia, sus actuaciones son tan buenas que llega un momento donde se nos hace difícil separar al actor/actriz del personaje que interpreta. Me era muy raro ver a la actriz de Yeon-Jin ser dulce y amable con la protagonista en el detrás de cámara. Me convencio increíblemente.
El juego de cámara, la escenografía y la ambientación eran muy buenas. El ambiente en su totalidad nos da esa sensación lúgubre ya que la historia es puramente drama, nos da incomodidad cuando tiene que hacerlo, nos da tristeza en los momentos justos y nos da satisfacción cuando es necesario.
Palabras Finales
Quiero destacar que la temática de la serie es muy fuerte y recomiendo que la vean bajo su propia discreción y responsabilidad.
Dudo que pueda agregar algo más que recomendarles que la vean, que se adentren en la historia y le presten máxima atención. No se arrepentirán en absoluto, tiene lo mejor del género psicológico, drama, algo de romance y mucho misterio.
Sin duda alguna, ya entiendo porque esta serie se hizo tan popular en Netflix, es muy buena y te hace reflexionar muchas cosas además de entretenerte con las excelentes actuaciones.

We all know the impact and popularity that streaming sites like Netflix, Amazon Prime or Disney+ have obtained, and at the same time we also know about the boom of Korean pop culture which includes kdramas, I am a fan of kpop but I can't say the same about Korean dramas so this experience was something new and different and as I am also a bit picky with my movie and TV preferences, you should know that if I am recommending this series is because I genuinely loved it, it met and exceeded my expectations and I would like you to watch it too.
I won't keep boring you with introductions, let's move on to the main topic.

Synopsis:
Moon Dong-Eun is a young girl from a difficult economic situation who dreams of becoming an architect, but has the misfortune of becoming the target of mistreatment by a group of spoiled children from her school who make her life impossible. The abusers
Park Yeon-Jin: She was the leader of the group of bullies and the main bully of Dong-Eun, daughter of a wealthy mother and accustomed to the fact that money would always get her out of trouble, she did whatever she wanted because no one would stop her. As she grew up she became a weather comentarist for a national TV channel, married a rich man and has a daughter who happens to be a student of her former victim.

He has a strange crush on Yeon-jin almost bordering on obsessive and severe anger issues, as well as suffering from color blindness which torments him. Growing up he inherits his family's golf club and does illegal business using the club as a front.
Lee Sa-ra: Daughter of a pastor and from a rich family, she is messy and spoiled. She also hurt Dong-Eun a lot along with the others and actively participated in bullying. As she grows up, she becomes a renowned artist with her own gallery, but she has a serious problem: she is a drug addict.
Song Myeong-oh: One of the worst of the group, he harassed Dong-Eun in many ways either by physical harm or sexual harassment, he tormented her in a horrible way, he comes from a middle class family. Growing up he becomes Jae-joon's subordinate just to have access to his money and luxuries, putting up with Jae-joon's mistreatment.
Choi Hye-jeon: The last member of the stalker group and probably the worst treated along with Myeong-oh, she doesn't come from a powerful family and is both victimized and victimized at the same time. Plot
The story is incredibly raw, it shows us how cruel human nature can be just for pleasure or fun. Dong-Eun's bullies were hurting her just because they wanted to and could and because the people around her did nothing against this, it gave them the green light to do even worse things against innocent people, not just Dong-Eun.
The series shows us through Dong-Eun's eyes, how far you can push a person with your cruelty until they can't fight back anymore and why didn't she ask for help? Yes she did, several times but again, this series shows us the cruel reality that many times money or power are stronger than justice and the protagonist had to endure seeing how the people who could help her decided to turn their backs on her because of money or the influence of Yeon-Jin or Jae-joon's families.
Another point of realism is the bullies' lack of remorse, when they learn that their victim has returned they don't feel guilt but fear that their secrets will be discovered and their perfect lives will be over. They still see Dong-Eun as a nobody, they feel no respect for anyone, not their families or themselves because they still have power on their side.
The Irony
One would think at first glance that their lives are 100% perfect and happy, but the reality is that they have fragile and troubled lives. Yeon-Jin has no respect for her husband and her horrible personality is exactly the same as when she was a teenager, she mistreats and abuses her employees just like before and uses money to buy the silence of the victims.
Jae-Joon lives frustrated that Yeon-Jin is happily married and has a nice family and he is just "the other", in addition to his color blindness that makes him feel an inferiority complex and his anger issues make him an impossible person to bear and dangerous. Hye-Jeon is, in addition to the protagonist, a very complex character. My Interpretation
The story tells us how sometimes forgetting is not so satisfying, and how overcoming is not so easy. Sometimes the trauma and anger are so engraved in us that we can't imagine a life without feeling this.
Dong-Eun clung to her revenge because she could not bear the thought of having lost her life and dreams at the hands of people who have easy and seemingly happy lives, it is not fair and since those responsible for enforcing justice did nothing she decided to do something herself.
I couldn't help but empathize with her, every episode was a complete "they deserve it", the most interesting thing is that Dong-Eun is dedicated to torment them using their own flaws and secrets against them, there is no foul play they themselves are in charge of destroying each other and she is just the intermediary, it's a complete psychological game just to show that the cruelest people are the most cowardly.
The secondary characters also have a deep story, each one has their own shadows and in one way or another they are interspersed with Dong-Eun and show us the cruelty of human beings and how sometimes forgetting and forgiving is not enough. How there are people who really do not feel guilt for the things they do and the consequences they can leave on a person.
Moon Dong-Eun is not a heroine, she is a very damaged person who seeks to unload her pain against those who caused it, Yeon-Jin is not a spoiled woman, she is a cruel and ruthless person who borders on sociopathy is selfish and has no respect for anything or anyone, not even her family. This is the reality that I understood. There is no redemption, only retribution.
Why do I recommend it?
The story is excellent and very well executed, there are no fillers, no gaps, everything has an answer, everything is very fluid and full of necessary details that force us to pay maximum attention to each episode.
The performances and characters are 10/10, the villains give us rage, the protagonist inspires us empathy, her performances are so good that there comes a moment where it is difficult to separate the actor/actress from the character she/he plays. It was so weird for me to see Yeon-Jin's actress being sweet and kind to the main character in the behind-the-scenes. It was incredibly convincing.
The camera play, set design and setting were very good. The whole atmosphere gives us that gloomy feeling as the story is purely drama, gives us discomfort when it has to, gives us sadness at the right moments and gives us satisfaction when it's needed.

I doubt I can add anything more than to recommend that you watch it, get into the story and pay maximum attention to it. You will not regret it at all, it has the best of the psychological genre, drama, some romance and a lot of mystery.
Without a doubt, I understand why this series became so popular on Netflix, it is very good and makes you reflect on many things in addition to entertain you with the excellent performances.

Esta serie es sin lugar a dudas una de las mejores que he visto este año, estuve ansiosa esperando que saliera su segunda parte en marzo ya que usaron esa estrategia de dividir en dos mitades la serie, una historia muy cruel y realista, al ver la primera parte no queria pensar que algo asi pudiera pasar en la vida real, pero lo termine confirmando que si estaba basada en una historia real, donde la chica sufrio los mismos maltratos que nuestra protagonista.
Además de tener como personaje principal a mi actriz favorita de la infancia, ya que fue la primera que vi hace 20 años en una serie muy conocida en esa epoca, los dramas coreanos son realmente buenos y tienen mucho que aportar, te recomiendo ver "La flor del mal" que tiene una trama igual de buena que esta.
Hola, dayna. Así es, esta serie aparte de ser muy buena es basada en una historia real y eso solo me hizo impactarme aún más. No puedo creer que hay personas tan crueles para hacer cosas así solo porque si, esta serie da un mensaje muy importante por eso me pareció que valía la pena hacer un pos sobre ella. También espero con ansias la segunda parte!

Si yo quede igual de impactada que tu y entendi el boom que tuvo en corea porque es algo de lo que la gente no habla mucho pero muchos son los que sufren de bulling.
Y siii te la recomiendo al 100% la flor del mal tiene unatrama bastante compleja que no sabes quien es el bueno o malo y es hermosa a la vez. Un gusto poder leerte saludos.
La verdad no soy de huirle a series asiáticas, es mas, han demostrado que hacen mejor guión y contenido que cualquier telenovela latina de renombre.
El metaverso de series tipo drama live action es enorme, y tienen un sin fin de cosas por mostrar, como un buen libro que llena tus expectativas.
Puede que me gusta ver series finalizadas, digo es el único parámetro para mi, ya que si las extienden o alargan tipo serie gringa (10 años), se vuelve tedioso.
Pero bueno, casi toda serie asiática tiene final, ya que tienen guiones sólidos.

Concuerdo contigo, las series asiáticas tienen una manera de hacer sus historias que simplemente te atrapa y te hace decir "nunca había visto una historia como esta".
Las series coreanas en su mayoría se destacan por ser siempre muy originales y entretenidas pero sobre todo por no alargarlas de forma innecesaria lo que al igual que a ti me gusta, muchas tienen cuando mucho 2 temporadas de pocos episodios así uno disfruta la historia sin aburrirse.
