Yeah. I've toyed with the tables being text but then I can't colour-code things.
The LEO post is just one table, repeated, and there are not so many colour options. Perhaps in the future :)

So, i'm guessing you're using a table in a document as opposed to a spreadsheet.
You can change the background colour of rows, columns or individual cells in any spread-sheet program (maybe also in a word processing program in a table). You can also change color of text.
For example, i now use Libre Office (as it's FOSS - free and open source - so i am not supporting the violence perpetrated by microsoft, google etc)
Then, it can be exported as a pdf to retain the text so it is searchable. I will now test it here to see if it is visible (like a picture) when uploading.
hmm. that didnt work. Didnt seem to upload the pdf. I'll try to figure it out
I'm using excel which has good options for formatting.
The issue is if I use markup, the table looks pretty plain.
