Part 7/8:

In a fit of rage and helplessness, Tandy eventually makes the decision to drive the new Philip to the desolate desert, wanting him out of the picture altogether. However, after an amusing series of events reveal the depth of the waning friendships, genuine concerns arise. The community reconnects over shared anxieties and love interests, much to the dismay of Tandy, who finds himself left alone.

After various misadventures, including a failed attempt to build a farm that was purely fabricated, Tandy goes through a range of emotions, from jealousy to regret. Carol eventually intervenes, prompting a reconciliation that sees Tandy reevaluating his position within the group and his strained relationship with Carol.
