However, she maintains that the case of Bancroft’s death - allegedly self-inflicted - needs closure. Takeshi, on the other hand, feels that if he presents his findings on Bancroft’s case in its current form, it could lead to his demise. During an earlier confrontation, he discovered that Riker had been framed for the murder of his twin by a man involved in Bancroft's dark dealings—a revelation that shocks Kristen to her core.
