Britney shared that the couple announced their daughter’s name shortly after she was born on January 12th, via a heartfelt joint post on Instagram. While they immediately agreed on the first name "Golden," they did face some indecision regarding the middle name "Ray." Britney expressed their deliberation: "We went back and forth for a while, but the one we settled on we really, really love."

Golden Ray now joins her older siblings, Sterling and Bronze, in the Mahomes family, who have eagerly welcomed their new sister. Britney characterized their son, who refers to the new addition by saying "I want baby," as still processing the arrival, while noting their daughter Sterling’s excitement.
