The Personal Connection of the Director

Adding another layer to the documentary is the personal touch of its director, Sole Moonfry. Having worked with Aaron Carter during her childhood on the set of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Moonfry reflects on her memories of him as a “young beautiful spirit.” Her prior interactions with the Carter family fuel her passion for telling their story, as she holds a unique insight into the pressures placed on child stars and how it can take a toll on their mental health.
