As tensions escalated, Morgoth's captain attempted a parley, presenting captured warriors to sway Fingon’s resolve. In a moment of fury, Gwindor mounted his steed, leading a charge against the enemy and awakening the fervor among the armies of the Eldar. With Fingon rallying his troops, the battle erupted.
With drawn swords shining like fire, the forces of Hithlum descended from the hills, striking Morgoth’s legions before they could muster their full strength. In the fray, Gwindor and the elves of Nargothrond, undeterred by the chaos, surged forth and breached the gates of Angband, unleashing a wave of panic among Morgoth’s ranks.
