Day 3: Old Town, Coronado, and Downtown San Diego

Old Town San Diego

• Start the day at Old Town San Diego, the birthplace of California and the site of the first permanent European settlement on the West Coast. Explore the historic sites, shops, and restaurants.

Coronado and Downtown San Diego

• Take the Coronado Ferry across the bay to the Convention Center Landing, then walk along the Embarcadero to Seaport Village, a waterfront shopping and dining district.

• Continue north to Tuna Harbor, home to the famous Unconditional Surrender statue and the USS Midway Museum.
