Part 6/13:

Global EV Adoption: Rapid Acceleration Beyond Norway

Tesla's dominance isn't limited to the US and China. In Norway, often considered the EV capital, one-third of all cars sold last month were Teslas, confirming the country's nearly complete shift to EVs. Similar trends are unfolding across Europe and other regions, with the fleet share of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) skyrocketing—reaching 85.1% in Denmark as of August 2025.

And the trend is not slowing—it's accelerating. Many countries are expected to hit 80% BEV market share within just a few years, far faster than Norway's timeline of over six years. The phase-out of hybrids in many markets leaves hybrids as mere transitional vehicles, with their market shares dropping as pure BEVs become the standard.
