Part 9/14:

Tesla’s Gigafactory in Austin hit an impressive weekly production rate of over 4,000 vehicles, bringing the total to around 19,000 units. However, delivery numbers for the Model S and X remained subdued, with only around 10,500 units delivered out of a considerably higher production of approximately 19,500. This discrepancy is attributed to a strategic transition towards a more regional-optimized delivery mix, especially across Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

Inventory levels in key regions like the US showed some accumulation, particularly for Model X, with Europe also exhibiting some stock buildup. In China, the start of new Model S and X deliveries might lead to a backlog or inventory adjustments, influencing local pricing and sales strategies.
