Participated on Leo Power Up Day with 400 Leo tokens

LPUD aka Leo Power up Day is a monthly event/initiative run by @leogrowth and its organized on 15of every month. We celebrate HPUD on the first of every month which is Hive power-up day and similarly LPUD is in mid of the month. I did my participation in the event on time and made the post on the next day. I check the timer in Hivebuzz to ensure that my power-up is done on time and there is no miss. I am glad to see many lions participating in the event and doing the power-up for Leo tokens, whatever is possible for them.

This is one of the events that I have been participating in since the beginning and it was started in June 2022. It means we are going to complete two years just after two more months as we need April month. I think we have come a long way where I can see a significant increase in overall adoption and participation by the Community which is great. This initiative has helped me build a nice Leo power holding, and I am close to making 25K Leo power.

LPUD Participation

I participated in this event by powering up 400 leo tokens. Earlier I used to do even bigger power-ups on this day but because I have already enabled the option to get a staked reward so my power-up has gone down. I still think that 400 Leo is not a bad amount and I'm delighted to do this. I missed taking the screenshot of power up hence I have taken the transaction history from the wallet as well as I have taken detailed snapshot from the hive-engine transaction history.

Now I'm about to have 25K Leo Power soon and currently I have 24792 Leo Power. I am already a lion as per my holding of Leo Power but my tan is to make it even bigger and the next immediate goal is to have 50k leo power. I know that it is going to take some time to be there but its fine because I am consistent and focused on what I am trying to achieve and I am pretty sure that I should be able to do this. After all, we can earn a good curation reward for holding a decent leo power and this is what I'm trying to achieve in the long run. The way prices for Leo tokens are going up will make it difficult to accumulate more in future hence it is better to grab the opportunity that is available now in the market.

Dashboard

This is the dashboard of my HP delegation to Leo where I am earning 15% of APR at the moment. This is not bad I would say that it is pretty good where I have delegated 9k HP to @leo.voter and getting staked leo daily. The number of tokens has been reduced because of the price increase and this is why it is always good to go for the delegation when the price is low because earlier I was getting more than 15 tokens in a day which is reduced to less than 8 now.

LPUD Reward

There are some rewards for the participants and let me tell you that these rewards are very good however, it's not guaranteed but if you are lucky enough you might be the one. Every month a group of participants are rewarded with delegation and many other rewards which I think is a great reason to participate in this event. I have been the winner multiple times in the past and soon I am going to be ineligible for this because I will cause 25K LP Mark and then I will not be eligible. It's fine because at least this is the last month when I have this opportunity to be part of the winners list and let's see if it happens or not but my participation is not just because of the reward and I do it because I want to do it so that I can grow my leo power.

The price for Leo token has grown significantly in the last 1-2 weeks and I am expecting that this will grow even more because soon we are going to have it listed on Dex. Will be able to swap leo for layer 1 coins which I think is going to be a big thing and of course hive will also be there. I have already increased my delegation to get more Leo tokens every day while I'm also powering up all the rewards and also buying from the market whenever there is an opportunity but the current price has put a pause on the buying for now. I will see if I can buy more soon.
