Something I'm starting to wonder about is adding HSBI's (Hive/Steem Basic Income) to the reward pile. You might have seen a few contests offering SBI as rewards.
The idea with SBI's is that each one on it's own only adds a little incremental boost, paid out in the form of post rewards, but as they build up they start to provide a consistent income. I'm not quite sure yet what the reward criteria would be (maybe a reward for the most consistent posters, or perhaps a way to bring back people who have stopped or slowed posting), but let me know what you think !
It means I'd be spending real HIVE to buy them, but once an SBI is bought, it provides an ongoing source of revenue both to the person I buy it for and to myself (so yes, there's a selfish motive here as well, lol).

It takes quite a while! Did you check how many you had as well? I see you have 17 right now.
Yep, I was on 16, and about 2 hours after I did the transaction it had gone up to 17, which is useful data for the kind of timescale we're looking at.
