Some can say nothing is guaranteed to happen. I tend to disagree. The way the universe is built there will always be patterns, repetitions. That's why we are able to predict the stock market, that's why psychologists predict human behavior, that's why we predict sports events. These patterns happen like 60% of the time and fail 40%, but people only pay attention to the 40%.

These are stats and probability you're mentioning. When it comes to human psychology phenomenon there's no guarantee that a particular phenomena is likely to happen based on things like predictions. It's why the whole human psychology is far more complex than the human mind. If people look at patterns, then it'll be impossible to explain the inexplicable things that actually happens in real life
