How the biggest LeoFinance comment challenge performed? The LEOMARKETTALK comment challenge statistics .

in LeoFinance3 years ago

A very good evening to everyone .

Hope you all are doing great , it has been a while since I posted any analysis post .

Today it will be all about Comment challenge that @taskmaster4450le held for the month of September.

The main criteria of the comment challenge were these -

  1. You had to comment under @leomarkettalk thread everyday .
  2. Top 3 will win the prizes ( very good amount of prizes won , believe me )
  3. Collectively 10k comments should be reached by everyone for the prizes to be eligible .

It is a very good feeling for me to say that 10k comments has been reached under @leomarkettalk post so the prizes were paid out to the winners .

So let us take a look at the stats now -

Number of comments under daily posts everyday

Daily.gif

This tells us how many comments each daily post have got .

The first 6-7 days saw amazing activity and so did the last days of the month . The middle of the month didn't see that much activity but still 300+ is a great count .

Average is 350+ comments.

Note: Sept 1 shows 363 count which means that for September 1st post , we saw 363 comments . This doesn't mean all the 363 comments were made on September 1st itself , many users come back to September 1st post on 2nd or 3rd and make comments too .

So the actual comments made daily is given below

Number of comments each day irrespective of which @leomarkettalk post

Daily_all.gif

This tells us that on September 1st users made 321 comments and on 2nd they made 523 comments but note that the 523 comments need not be on September 2nd post itself , it can be on September 1st post too .

3rd of Sept has 428 comments which means the users posted 428 comments on 1st , 2nd and 3rd @leomarkettalk post collectively .

Who were the winners and other top commentors ?

Top users.gif

@finguru finished first and you can read his victory post here.
Second prize went to @tfranzini .
Third prize went to @jfang003 .

All of these members are great as I have personally had many discussion with them.

@magnacarta just missed out but he did a great job too :)

What's the use for LeoFinance from this challenge?

Well many of you might be thinking , okay this is all great for those members but how does it help LeoFinance ?

Look at this -

Frontend.gif

Out of all the comments made in the @leomarkettalk post , 9.8k comments were made from the LeoFinance front-end itself which ofcourse is a good thing because it increases page views / traffic for LeoFinance .

That's it from me today but I am very happy to a part of this . If you want to join us , please check out @leomarkettalk post everyday .

Regards ,
MR.

It was a great experience mate. This giveaway made September the 'best month of the year' for me.

Engagement is vital for any social media platform to succeed in the long run. We need more of such initiatives to boost our numbers as we grow in size. ✌

Congratulations to everyone for participating. Special thanks to Task for hosting it and you for publishing this report. ✌

Yes, the comments can be dynamic which means no posts gets old. A post done two days ago is still relevant as people can continue the discussion and keep it running. This is the most dynamic thing about the LMT, these discussions educate and entertain users, hence it maintains a particular relevance.

It was a great run and everyone pitched in. The top four people are getting rewarded so even if he missed out on the top 3, he will be getting some LEO tokens.

This Reddit-like challenge surely showed the potential of comments or micro-posts that can take off in the Hive blockchain. Hopefully Project Blank will see the day of light soon enough and we will have the right app to manage such kind of limitless micro-posts!

It was definitely a great run and it took a lot of team work but we made it!

I think the biggest winner is LeoFinance though because it really shows the power of the community we have here
