Please note that there has been a mistake on my part. It was the use of usernames that sounded like actual accounts ( user.dunamu, rob23, deepcrypto) that threw me off. It was pointed out that these were fintech services and other exchange related accounts. I apologize for all the trouble this may have caused. On the bright side of things now we know which exchange they used. I am very sorry for the trouble my mistake may have caused.

Most of you have been watching the hive price going up. But did you think why?
HIVE price is coming up due to the scams
Yeah! You read that right!! In the last 24 hours there has many reports coming up from people who got their account stolen. So I decided to do a little digging.
What I found out..
Most of the compromized accounts had their entire savings transferred to @contestbuddy. But that's not it! @contestbuddy regularly transfers the hive and HBD to @probithive. Who then transfers to @probitred. Then @probitred transfers the money to @deepcrypto8 , @rob23 , @byercatire , @felixgarciap and @user.dunamu. Whichever route you take the money ends up with @user.dunamu. At the end of the day the money will end up with @upbitsteem.
So what!!??

Upbitsteem is, as far as I know, the account used by the Upbit Exchange, just like Probit. (DeepCrypto8 is also connected to an exchange if I am right.) Also Dunamu is a company that offers fintech services for blockhain technology. So the user account on Hive is part of that.
It might be that the swindler(s) behind the recent scam(s) are using one or more of these services. But I think that it has nothing to do with the exchanges owned by these services. (And as far as I can see, this has also nothing to do with a possible pump.)

This is nonsense.
We had the same phishing group since 2017 operating in the crypto sphere and among the DPoS chains. They stole 1000 accounts, most of which are victims. Sorry for your trouble. It was a mistake I made. The use of accounts which sounded like actual accounts (user.dunamu) sounded suspicious. But only much later it hit me that the spammers might have got away at probit and the transactions b/w the exchanges was not related. Again , I am deeply sorry for all your trouble.
It's no trouble, don't be sorry. Your inference just made no sense that's all but I can see how its easy to go off-course on this.
I could not see from your post why the ongoing blatant phishing scams would drive the price of HIVE up. 😐 Sorry. 😰
My thoughts were a bit wild during that time ,but what I meant in the post was that the scams were collecting the hive and sending them (only much later it hit me that those accounts were exchanges). For some reason sbd prices increasing because Korea was buying up sbd and reducing the circulation popped up on my head. So I made the connection with hive . But again my bad.
