June 12th and Week Twelve

I wonder if anyone thought week twelve would finish on June twelfth when we made the switch over. Twelve weeks and I certainly had a banner week this week. Wednesday was one of the best single days I had on the Block Chain reward wise, and engagement wise.

I continue to try and spread my post out among the various communities, and continue to believe they are and will be the future of Hive.

So on with the Progress Report. First up the Chart:

Voting CSI 17.1 ( 0.00 % self, 263 upvotes, 130 accounts, last 7d )1

1Vote CSI is from Beeme.Icu, and the APR is from hivestats.io

Post:

During week eleven I had a total of 7 post, so a one post drop in last weeks total. (Remember week 11 was split between May and June). Still I am rather happy I was able to spread my post out among five different communities, (even if one was my own).

Replies and Comments:

This was a very good week for engagement for me. I think this is the closest spread between comments and replies I have ever had, so that was very nice to see. I continue to try and leave a message/comment on at least ten post a day, I don't always manage that, such as Monday only two comments, it was just one of those days. Wednesday certainly made up for it though.

One thing about comments verse votes, I think as a consumer votes do matter a little bit, they are somewhat of an indication of a valuable contribution. When the number of votes are combined with a number of comments then a consumer has a much better idea that this particular post might be worth looking at. So if you see/read or listen to a post you find interesting, let the next consumer know by leaving a thoughtful comment if able.

Current Reputation Level:

Not a bad little movement in Reputation, two more months and I may be knocking on 67 Reputations door. Slow growth but still growth, it does take longer the higher an individuals reputation gets to grow.

Earnings:

I am continuing with the Pie Charts. They give a quick and easy to view image of where the earnings came from. It was a learning experience and I want to keep that knowledge handy and available, and the best way to retain any knowledge is to use it or lose it.

The HBD-C is what the weekly HBD earnings would be if they were converted today to Hive. This is to show a rough estimate of apples and apples comparison rather than having a skewed pie chart with HDB being a similar size to curation value.

Curation APR %

Almost into the double digit on curation APR earnings. At 9.9% I know there are accounts that do a much better job at maximizing their curation rewards, and from a crypto currency investment point of view they should. What mine shows is that even from a non-investment viewpoint you can still earn a nice reward for voting on content you find enjoyable when you find it.

I vote solely on a manual basis. I do not look at all the post I vote on, 95% or more of my votes go to people I follow because I like and enjoy the content they put forth, and even if I do not have the time to stop by and view, I want them to continue to produce for those times I am able to stop by and view their post.

So a 9.9% fully manual catch as catch can catch kind of voter, shows that yes you can earn a nice reward just for liking post.

Community Support This Week:

As I mentioned above I try to spread my post out among the various communities. I am a firm believer in the community system, and I do like how some of the communities are growing and taking care of their environs. So here are the 5 + 1 communities I supported this week. Drop by and see if they have post/content you might be interested in. (well except mine it is just my test bed community).

Conclusion:

It was a pretty nice week. The communities continue to grow. My HP level continues to grow. My Reputation continues along it's slow growth curve to the next level. It was just a growth kind of week.
