You do have to love how the government operates. Vetos such as this come at the very end of the day on a Friday to try and down play things mainly because news agencies and everyone is trying to take off and enjoy the weekend.

What they don't know is us crypto people watch stuff, trade stuff and talk about stuff 24/7 so the ability for the government to try and pull a fast one over it's people is getting harder and harder.

What this means is that banks and other large firms can not be custody holders. It's actully a major back peddle in terms of crypto adoption, ETFs and the likes.

What's funny about this (but not really and is actully disgusting the more you look into it) Is that the white house and dems were all trying to be buddy buddy with crypto when Trump was starting to get a lot of popularity for it. Then all of a sudden trump gets the guilty verdict to how he managed his money in the company (which I'm sure if you probe any company enough you'll find something) it seems like that verdict has now totally changed the mind where the white house is becoming anti crypto once again.

This goes to show you how corrupt and manipulative the government is (on both sides) to simply try and get your votes. They can say whatever they want but when they are in power the can do whatever they want so you have to play the game of doing your best to trust someone or not.

What Happens Next

What happens next is that the house can overturn the veto by having a two thirds majority vote from both the house and congress which is something that very rarely happens. But who knows you hope that the people you vote into power are there for it's people and not their own skin in the game but that's rarely the case anymore. If it was up to me I would say things like this should go into a better voting option. There's plenty of capability now digitally to be able to takes proper votes from everyone but it honestly feels like governments don't want that because it could shake up the narrative they are spending your tax money on to change.

It's things like this and days like today were people continue to lose faith in their governments and it's not getting better. Information is now more readily available to people but of course there has to be a balance where you understand not all of it is true and is done by outside governments and countries to try and sway votes. To think that's not happening would make you the most gullible person ever.

What we need to get to again is to understand what Crypto stood for in the first place. A way to restore value and power back into the hands of every day people. Those who think otherwise I feel are doomed to the constant propaganda of the "system" and clearly don't see the power of being responsible and having the power in your own hands.

So what happens next honestly depends on many factors such as who's going to run for president and how many people back them up. Heck I might even go vote for once even though I know it really doesn't matter much anymore and instead the power is in the message and doing things like holding crypto the counter the system do more.
