Hello Splinter nerds
The new reward cards have nice abilities, I already like some of the monsters because of the abilities they possess, but I still can't use them in battle because they are not yet well leveled up, and can't risk using them in Champ League.
During a battle, I was paired with a player who used Olivia of the Brook a new reward card but it is still in level 3 and the abilities ain't yet completed but still, the Mimic ability was present.
This is Olivia at a max level with her abilities, she possesses opportunity, a reflection shield which are existing abilities, and mimic
which is the new ability that comes with the new reward card... Another interesting thing about Olivia is her 2 modes of attack, she has melee and magic and this is the kind of monster I love to use in battle so she is already one of my favorites.
The mimic ability is a brainy one, it allows the monster to mimic one ability from the opponent team at the beginning of each round, if this monster is not killed, she could possess a lot of abilities that will make it more difficult for the opponent to take her down.
There are some abilities she can't mimic though. The likes of ``Taunt, Flank, reach and a few others.
I was paired with a player in a 3 combo ruleset, No neutral monster can be used, Only magic monsters can be used and monster lose their armor when they attack but this only affects melee monsters so not valid since only magic can be used.
The opponent and I used the life splinter but we came up with a different summoner, I used Avina of the Wolf with the healing stat while he used Grandmaster Rathe that supplies void armor which makes it impossible for magic to penetrate the armor, +1 armor and amplify ability.
My tactics were simple, I placed a monster with immunity ability in the front position as my tank and used the summoner to heal it from damages from the opponent team, just in case that wasn't enough, I also used another monster with heal tank, making it double heal for my tank, the immunity would save it from any affliction so my chance of winning the battle was high.
The opponent used something similar but he didn't focus his attack and I also have more attackers than him...

It was good to reduce the abilities this card can mimic, else they'll be surely unstoppable. I use to think the Water element had all the good cards alone.
I love the card and cant wait to upgrade it, I lost two battles to it and I already know my fate before the battle ended as it mimics some badass abilities from my monsters which makes it undefeated in the battle.
Wow
The card will be a very strong one but if it could mimic the ability of those other cards, does it mean it will be as strong as them?
