Hitting From All Side or Only The First Card

Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.

The last season was great and because of that I was able to use my Glint rewards to buy a Legendary card as well as some EPIC cards. If I talk about the Legendary I got the Chaos Battle Mage, which is a Ranged attack and it has a piercing ability. The best thing is that it is a Neutral card, which means I can use it for any battle. Now the thing is, I use this card only for the high mana game as it is a 8 mana card and sometimes in a low mana game it might not be useful.

And then some Epic card I got, which is somewhat normal. As of now I have all the cards from the normal, Rare and Epic from the rewards, and I have only 2 Legendary cards. So now my goal is to get atleast 1 Legendary cards per season and if there is Glint rewards are available, then get the Epic cards and increase the levels. Once I have the higher levels cards, I will increase my summoner levels too in that way I will use my Glint rewards for the better use.

Now coming back to the topic, which is better option for a team "Hitting From All Side or Hitting Only The First Card". Let me explain, we have different ability of the cards like Opportunity (which hits the smallest health of opponent), Snipe (Hitting the first non melee card), Sneak ( targets the last position card) and so on. Now this different abilities hit the cards from everywhere, it can be middle, last or even first.

But when we focus on cards and try to hit only the first card of the opponent that is like hitting it one by one. The difference is when you are hitting the first card, all your attack comes at once whereas when you attack everywhere you might not be able to kill the opponent card. So what's the best way to play the game.

For example, in the above game as you can see I have all the varieties of abilities and I am Hitting all the cards. Problem is the opponent has kept the biggest health card at the first position and if I hit that card, it might take 2 to 3 rounds to kill that card fully. Now at the same time if the opponent has the healing ability, it might take some extra rounds. So sometimes hitting only the first card doesn't make sense.

And in this case, when I started hitting all the cards with opportunity and sneak ability, I got rid of other cards than the first card and thus the attack to my cards gets slow and I can kill the opponent card little faster. Now it's doesn't work always, sometimes opponent have Taunt, which accepts all the opponents attack. So we have to be careful at that time also.

So whichever way you choose, it's fine. But for me I like the hitting all the side option because then I can hit weak cards of the opponents first and then eliminate them from the equation. And that's how I like to play most of my games.
