The Importance of Being Part of a Community
As time went by, I understood that for a community to be strong and united, it is because of the people in it. Members determined and motivated to bring and do whatever is necessary for the good of the community. Support and welcoming are some of the characteristics that make the diverse communities we have in the Hive ecosystem thrive.
On a social network like InLeo, for example, it is practically impossible for you to be a “lone wolf”, because for you to grow naturally, interaction is fundamental in this part of the process. Curation is an essential item that helps you grow, both yourself and other people. That's why your involvement in a community is very important.
I believe that some friends already know a little about my story when I arrived here. I showed up alone, no one invited me so the first few days were difficult. The only way to start interacting with other people was with other Brazilians and that's how I discovered @brazilians, a project led by @casagrande and which to this day supports the Brazilian community and also all Portuguese speakers.
Some time later and also after some conversations I met the Hive-BR community. To be honest, I had never seen a Tupiniquim community with so much organization, commitment and structure. It's as if we arrived in a place and practically has everything we need in terms of support.
In this article I want to present to you some initiatives and support programs that the Brazilian community has to offer to all its members. Of course, I still don't know everything, but it's likely that someone more Hive-BR veteran can appear in the comments and help add more information about it.
Hive-BR Community Initiatives
- Author of the Week: This initiative aims to choose the best author of the week among members through voting. The winner receives a reward. Below explains how this reward is made:
Every Friday, when the 7-day countdown of the publication of the week's writers' announcement ends, the reward in HBD will be converted into HIVE and then a PowerUp will be made to the winning account for 60% of the total.
Group on Discord: Hive-BR has, in addition to Discord, specific groups also on Whatsapp and this means that most people interact more quickly and simply during their everyday life outside of Hive. There are also lives on Discord every Wednesday at 8 pm.
Splinterlands Guild: If you are a Brazilian who likes to play Splinterlands (if you don't know this game, then it's time to get out of the cave. LOL), know that the community has a Guild and that there are many committed and I can even say professionals, as to be part of it you must follow some specific rules.
In my old Guild, few people participated in Brawl and my rewards were very few. But now, the average SPS I gain in each Brawl is 30 SPS, it doesn't even compare to what I gained previously. We will soon be unlocking Tier 4 and thus have more places for more members to join the battle.
- Visibility: There is an initiative promoted by @shiftrox that selects some members so that their posts are published on the @hive-br profile, so the author keeps 20% of the post's revenue.
Thread Day: The community profile promotes a thread every day and in it, members can interact however they want.
For me, this initiative is very important, as in addition to helping with greater interaction between people, it means that members have more contact with the InLeo platform. In the last few days the average number of comments jumped from 34 to 125 taking into account the last 5 threads created.Voting and delegation trail: The community has a voting trail and everyone follows @hive-br.voter. Brazilian curators are looking for quality articles every day, so it's worth dedicating yourself and creating interesting posts. The upvote for this track exceeds $1 and that's incredible!
For someone just starting out, it's a great incentive to stay here and many know that no matter how many times people are invited to come to Hive, they eventually give up, but with a strong voting trail like Hive-BR, this could change. the game.
Understand the importance of delegating part of your HP, the more HP we delegate to the bot, the higher your upvote will be. You practically benefit twice, as every day $HIVE is distributed by your delegation and another receives upvotes from the Brazilian trail.
It's important to remember that you can use the #hivebr and #pt tags.
- Contests: This is the fun part that I like the most and I know it is the contests. The most recent created is @wiseagent which announced that it will delegate 200 HP for the member who earns the most $LEO during the Thread Day promoted by the community profile. Excellent attitude from our friend, as this is what makes a community prosperous and united, through contests that generate more and more interactions and involvement within the Hive ecosystem.

A Importância de Fazer Parte de Uma Comunidade
Com o passar do tempo, compreendi que para uma comunidade ser forte e unida, é por causa das pessoas que nela estão. Os membros determinados e motivados a trazer e fazer tudo o que for preciso para o bem da comunidade. O apoio, o acolhimento são algumas das características que fazem as diversas comunidades que temos no ecossistema Hive de prosperarem.
Em uma rede social como a InLeo por exemplo, é praticamente impossível você ser um “lobo solitário”, pois para você crescer de forma natural, a interação é fundamental nessa parte do processo. A curadoria é um item essencial que te ajuda a crescer tanto você quanto as outras pessoas. Por isso o seu envolvimento em uma comunidade é muito importante.
Acredito que alguns amigos já sabem um pouco da minha história quando cheguei aqui. Eu apareci sozinho, ninguém me convidou então nos primeiros dias foram difíceis. A única forma de começar a me interagir com as outras pessoas era com outros brasileiros e foi assim que conheci o @brazilians, um projeto liderado pelo @casagrande e que apoia até hoje a comunidade brasileira e também todos os falantes da língua portuguesa.
Tempos depois e também depois de algumas conversas conheci a comunidade Hive-BR. Sendo sincero, nunca tinha visto uma comunidade tupiniquim com tanta organização, empenho e estrutura. É como se a gente chegou em um lugar e praticamente tem tudo que a gente precisar em termos de suporte.
Este artigo quero apresentar para vocês algumas iniciativas e programas de suporte que a comunidade brasileira tem a oferecer para todos os seus membros. É claro que ainda não conheci tudo, mas é provável que alguém mais veterano do Hive-BR possa aparecer nos comentários e ajudar a adicionar mais informações sobre.
Iniciativas da Comunidade Hive-BR
- Guild de Splinterlands: Você brasileiro que goste de jogar Splinterlands (se você não conhece esse jogo, então está na hora de sair da caverna. LOL), saiba que a comunidade possui uma Guild e que existem muitos jogadores empenhados e posso até dizer profissionais, pois para fazer parte deverá seguir algumas regras específicas.
A minha antiga Guild pouca gente participava do Brawl e minhas recompensas eram bem poucas. Mas agora, a média que ganho de SPS em cada Brawl é de 30 SPS, não tem nem comparação com o que eu ganhava anteriormente. Em breve estaremos desbloqueando o Tier 4 e assim teremos mais vagas para mais membros entrarem para a batalha.
- Autor da Semana: Essa iniciativa visa escolher o melhor autor da semana entre os membros por meio de votação. O vencedor recebe uma recompensa. Abaixo explica como é feito essa recompensa:
Toda sexta quando terminar a contagem de 7 dias da publicação de anúncio dos escritores da semana, a recompensa em HBD será convertida em HIVE e então feito um PowerUp para a conta vencedora em 60% do total.
Grupo no Discord: Hive-BR possui além do Discord, grupos específicos também no Whatsapp e isso faz com que grande parte das pessoas interagem de forma mais rápida e simples durante o seu cotidiano fora do Hive. Existem também lives pelo Discord toda quarta às 20 horas.
Visibilidade: Existe uma incicativa promovida pelo @shiftrox que seleciona alguns membros para que seus posts sejam publicados no perfil @hive-br, sendo assim o autor fica com 20% da receita do post.
Thread Day: O perfil da comunidade promove todos os dias uma thread e nela, os membros podem interagir do jeito que quiserem.
Para mim essa iniciativa é muito importante, pois além de ajudar em uma maior interação entre as pessoas, faz com que os membros tenham mais contato com a plataforma InLeo. Nos últimos dias a média de comentários saltou de 34 para 125 levando em consideração as últimas 5 threads criadas.
- Trilha de votos e delegação: A comunidade possui uma trilha de votos e todos seguem o @hive-br.voter. Os curadores brasileiros diariamente estão a procura por artigos de qualidade., então vale muito a pena você se dedicar e criar posts interessantes. O upvote dessa trilha ultrapassa de $1 e isso é incrível!
Para alguém que está começando, é um grande incentivo para permanecer aqui e muitos sabem que por mais que convidados as pessoas para vir ao Hive, elas com o tempo desistem, mas com uma trilha de voto forte como o Hive-BR, isso poderá mudar o jogo.
Entenda a importância de delegar uma parte de seu HP, quanto mais HP delegamos para o bot, maior será o seu upvote. Praticamente você é beneficiado por duas vezes, pois todos os dias é distribuído $HIVE por sua delegação e outra recebe os upvotes da trilha brasileira.

- Concursos: Essa é a parte divertida que eu mais gosto e conheço que são os concursos.
