Growing Your Hive Stake

I do think over time you soon start to realise how powerful having stake really is as a growth tool. The saying money makes money is also true for having stake making more stake. The more stake you have the easier growth becomes especially on Hive.

When I first started out on hive I had no clue what and where these small increments that were being added to my wallet came from. As your stake grows in size it becomes very clear that this is serious growth taking place and you know it is just the APR being compounded over time growing in size alongside your ever increasing Hive Power stake. Many underestimate the power that compounding possesses and it is massively beneficial to everyone in crypto that uses this technique. Staking is the easiest and smartest way to grow without any risks attached.

The obvious place to check first is the APR that is earned on your Hive stake which normally sits at around 3% and is now at 2.85%. This obviously fluctuates and is more or less safe to bank on around 3%. The easiest place to see your APR earning in real time is to head across to what I call the the hive petrol pump tool. This is the codergeek.org tool and highly recommend everyone on Hive witness this APR action on their account at least once. If this does not inspire you to want to grow more then nothing will.

This is self explanatory because the movement you see on your stake besides claiming rewards is your current 2.85% APR in action on your stake. The more you have the bigger the movements which are multiple times per 60 seconds. Someone with a 5K Hive Power stake will receive in the region of 0.4 Hive daily. My stake generates around 9.4 Hive daily and is a significant part of my growth these days. This is around 3.4K Hive per annum and you don't need to do anything except stake your Hive. This all compounds over the weeks and months so the growth is actually far more than you think.

The other rewards where you benefit by having stake are curation and delegation, but those are processes that require you to physically do something. The curation rewards are worth around another 8%-9% on average which once staked only increase the speed of the compounding effect. You don't necessarily need to be an author posting content to make a success out of Hive and the proof is seeing many of the whale accounts earn via curation and the staking APR that is on offer.

Crypto as we all know by now is a process that is broke down into cycles with very few investors making it big with in their first cycle. The process is slow and tedious at first with the emphasis placed on learning gaining a full understanding of your investments. Once you have mastered where the earnings come from and how they are achieved crypto becomes far easier with success following closely behind.

I am working hard to keep my Hive stake at 5k.

This post is very inspiring and I DO love watching that petrol pump!

You have to try keeping it over 5K as a minimum. I do understand the realities of life and just hope you can because in 15 months or so you will be far happier knowing you have Dollar value and not Rand value.

Indeed. So I just got over 5k, now dipping below again, but I will be attempting to do straight 100% powerups until my HP is at 5k again. Should take me about 3 weeks to do.

What about HBD at 20%

I've been moving plenty in there recently. 20% is hard to agree with.

Yes at the right time though and definitely not now. We know Hive will be above $1 in the next 12-15 months so why lose over 2.5 the value of your Hive in HBD. 20% vs 250% is not a good idea and why waiting for the right time is smarter.

Damn, your account has really grown fast the last year! Well done! Amazing to know you have 10 1,71 USD worth votes a day! That’s something! 👌

Yes it has grown. The vote value is not that much yet and around 5 Hive so 50Hive daily divided by 2 so about 25 Hive. The 9.4 Hive daily via the APR is what impresses me the most.

I think you are reading the dash board wrong and check it out for yourself and you will understand it better.

Man, that real-time wallet is cool as hell.
