This is something everyone should do regardless of the whole contest/prize thing. As someone else said, that's just icing on the cake. The real reward is setting yourself goals and then attaining them. The satisfaction and sense of accomplishment alone are worth the effort.
The financial benefits will come, or they won't, but the personal development gained by crafting a plan and then taking the personal accountability to stick to it will ultimately be worth far more in the long run. Unless of course LEO goes to $10 next year. Then the financial rewards might just be it's equal. :-)
