My 64th Instacart paycheck 💸 🛒

It was another average week of Instacrt shopping for me. As I hope for more, I am only gently dangled the famed carrot from this greedy corporation.

Monday, April 8th

Tuesday, April 9th

No work.

Wednesday, April 10th

I was hyped to start a new week and remained confident that I would get some orders worth doing, unlike the last couple of weeks. Wednesday started out slow, but I had an order every hour from 11:30-1:30.

I made about $66.66/hr on this day.

The last order of the day was a banger. I had delivered to this house a few times before, but this time it was the mother of the kids ordering rather than the grandmother. The mom messaged me several times througout my order, which I didn't mind because she was quick and to the point.

She was impressed at the fact that I carried in 20-25 bags on one arm. To me, that's just normal at this point. I forget that when the average person sees me carrying that much, they wonder how it is even possible. She originally tipped me $50, but increased it to $55 after I left her house. I need more awesome customers like this woman.

Thursday, April 11th

No work due to another huge storm and floods.

Friday, April 12th

This wasn't one of those WOW Fridays, but that doesn't mean it was a complete dud. It was the day following a huge storm and major flooding in some areas. I lucked out and didn't run into any major issues on the road outside of some washed-out gravel in a few places.

I made about $47.03/hr on this day.

The morning consisted of a couple of orders, but there was a gap between noon and close to 3:30. I ended up getting one final order for the day, which was also the best of the day. To my surprise, the best tippers of the day lived in low-income housing. They are either getting loads of benefits, or they are just kind-hearted despite not being in the best financial situation. I'm going with the second one as I have continuously been surprised by people who don't have much giving much larger tips than those who have a lot.

Saturday, April 13th

Instacart is the biggest waste of time sometimes, but that doesn't mean I should give up when things don't go my way. I started the day early with a great order at 9 in the morning. After that, I then ended up waiting about 7 hours until I finally got another order worth doing. I had all day to work, but nothing came up for me.

I made about $40.47/hr on this day.

Since I was forced to take pretty much all day off, I kept the app online through the evening. Thankfully that resulted in three more okay orders. All in all, it was a decent day, albeit a lot of time wishing I was working rather than getting to work.

Sunday, April 14th

Sunday wasn't as bountiful as I was hoping it would be. I had sporadic orders while I was online, none of which where particularly great by any stretch of the imagination.

I made about $37.97/hr on this day.

I hoped to make at least double what I ended the day with but hoping only gets you so far with Instacart. This job is largely luck-based, which doesn't always play out to my advantage.

End of week hours and pay 🤑

week64.jpg

My weekly pay was $310 and I barely worked only 6.5 hours.

I made about $47.14/hr on average this past week.

Doing it again next week 👀

As the weeks continue, Instacart seems to be less and less reliable in terms of me getting actual work. I am still relying on it as much as I can for now, but I feel I'm wasting a lot of time wishing I was working, rather than actually getting to do so.

I hope you have enjoyed this insider look at what kind of pay is possible while working for Instacart.

Makin' the money! :)

It's spent on bills as soon as it comes in untitled.gif

When the daily routine of work is established, then the work also starts going, sometimes it happens that the bad days go away.

I can see how some times Instacart can be frustrating and that is a situation with any other job that you depend on the amount of clients, I know this because I actually have clients outside of my 8-5 and thats the reason I got an 8-5 to have some stability, a mix of both but at times both are frustrating 😅 , just keep grinding bro ✌️

Do you just do instacart or Uber eats? Door dash?
