My 8th Instacart paycheck 💸 🛒

With the way that last week ended, I visualized that same success continuing into my eighth week. I may have just had my best week in terms of earnings, but I was aiming to outdo myself yet again. The high score must be broken.

I plan on doing a weekly Instacart Financial Report like this one, so if you enjoy this kind of content be sure to follow me if you aren't already doing so.

I'm going to be breaking down each day of work individually. Luckily, the Instacart Shopper app makes that extremely easy to do. Let's go ahead and get things started.

Monday, February 27th

monfeb27.jpg

I had such a productive day on Monday that I was able to call it quits before it got dark for once. I wasn't able to get started until around noon due to having to get some things done, but good orders just kept showing up for me the entire time I was working.

I made about $34.49/hr on this day.

I had to drive to multiple different cities for various reasons and each time I found an order that was in that city and the delivery point was in the direction of my next destination. There is a lot of planning that goes into being a good Instacart shopper. Wasting a bunch of gas is a quick way to diminish profits, so I always try to make sure what I'm doing makes sense.

Getting multiple $20+ tips helped me get over $100 in barely three hours. I don't mind working longer, but not if I don't have to. My aim is a minimum of $100 each day. That doesn't always happen and sometimes I will make twice as much as that. Every day is different and that keeps the job from ever bt

Tuesday, February 28th

tuefeb28.jpg

Tuesday was a continuation of Monday's pace and pay. I was able to stay busy as much as I wanted to. I ended up having to work just a little bit more than the day prior to make basically the exact same money, but I didn't take any huge orders so it was all easy work.

I made about $26.82/hr on this day.

I woke up Tuesday morning to the news that there was another Instacart promotion going on. This one was nowhere near as good as the one on Sunday, but it did net me a few extra dollars.

promo.jpg

All in all, it was a great day. I met several of my customers, the weather was amazing all day, and I just had myself a good time.

Wednesday, March 1st

wedmar1.jpg

This day started out extremely slow. I didn't get my first batch until after 1pm, which was a very small order. Eventually, I did get a few more good batches, but only did three total and delivered to five different customers. I considered working more, but I had to help a friend during an emergency flat tire and after that, I felt the day needed to be over.

I made about $28.25/hr on this day.

I didn't hit my $100 daily goal, but it's okay because it's still better than a $0 day. There was yet another promotion going on where I could have earned some extra money just by completing 5 batches. I of course didn't do that. Too bad the app doesn't count each order instead of each batch, which sometimes has 2-3 orders within one batch.

promo2.jpg

It probably would have only been about $10-$15 extra if I had completed the promotion. I just didn't feel up to working all night long. Plus, my last order of the evening tipped me $36, so I decided to end on a high note.

Thursday, March 2nd

thumar2.jpg

It's pretty easy to see from the stats that I didn't do much work on Thursday. I wasn't able to get started quite as early as I usually do since I had a dentist appointment on Thursday. I did complete a batch immediately following my hour at the dentist. As soon as I finished that I got a call from my friend over at Liberty Tax saying that they had all of my info in order and just needed me to come by and sign some stuff so we could file. It's a weight lifted off my shoulders. This was the first year I've ever had to report any of my cryptocurrency and surprisingly it was pretty simple. Mostly because there weren't many gains this past year.

I made about $23.67/hr on this day.

This was one of my lowest hourly rates since my first few weeks. I don't have any other major events that will keep me from working anytime soon. Now that the weather is warming up, I'm very happy to get outside and work as much as possible. Thursday just didn't have any good orders and I also had very little time.

The last place I delivered on Thursday was a gorgeous home up in South Hills. The guy ordered ten 24-packs of eater. His hot personal trainer was leaving as I arrived. He opened his garage and asked me to sit all the water on one of his tables. His garage was turned into a badass home gym and I was jealous. He did comment to me and said that it looked like I work out, which made me feel good because sometimes I can't even tell in the mirror. He had an immaculate garden out front too, I'm surprised he didn't have one of my dream cars in his driveway too. He was a nice guy and seemed to have a decent sense of humor, so I'm glad I was able to stop by and chat for a bit.

Friday, March 3rd

frimar3.jpg

Friday didn't go as well as I was hoping it would. I did manage to have a pretty fantastic hourly rate, however, I didn't get the opportunity to work very many hours. I had plenty of free time all day long, but there were not many orders worth taking.

I made about $37.06/hr on this day.

I tend to try to go offline by 7 or 8 in the evening. I just don't like being out in the dark for too long and rather enjoy spending the daytime working. Not all days are going to be bountiful with batches. You must suck it up and move on to the next day.

At least this wasn't my worst day of the week and it did give me plenty of time to rest up for what will probably be a very busy and profitable weekend. I even had time to go do my weekly shopping for myself. So it was a good day for me overall.

Saturday, March 4th

satmar4.jpg

Saturday did not start out well at all. My first order was a relatively small batch for one person. I shopped all of their items in less than 15 minutes, but when I arrived at the delivery point the customer wouldn't answer my calls or texts. Normally I'd just leave it on their porch. However, this was a massive apartment building and it was locked so I had no way to get inside. Plus the dude was really dumb and didn't even leave an apartment number, it just said parking lot. The batch ended up getting canceled and I still got paid, but it took me three times as long as it normally would have. Mainly because the grocery store employees were so incompetent that they couldn't even figure out how to do a return. It was resolved after about an hour of wasting time. The day improved big time after that first order though.

I made about $40/hr on this day.

There was yet another promotion that was pushing me to complete a certain number of batches. I had plans to work all day anyway, so it was completed without me even having to focus on it too hard. This nets me an additional $17 for no extra work at all.

promosat.jpg

There weren't as many amazing orders as last weekend, but I still had multiple customers who were very generous tippers. It made for my best day of the week so far and one of my top 5 days overall since I started.

Sunday, March 5th

sunmar5.jpg

This was my slowest Sunday so far. There seriously just were no great orders all day long. The couple of orders I did take were absolutely massive in item numbers, close to 100 each. They took about an hour to shop for a piece and that took up most of my morning. By 1pm, I hadn't seen any other orders worth taking and decided to call it quits early.

I made about $30.18/hr on this day.

Although it wasn't a fantastic day of work, it was still a gorgeous day weather-wise and a great way to end the weekend. I got to go to the gym, which I usually never get to do on the weekends because I try to focus on working.

For the amount of stuff that I had to carry in for my two orders on Sunday, I think I more than earned the tips that they left me.

End of week hours and pay 🤑

finalpayweek8.jpg

My weekly pay was just over $650 and I barely worked over 20 hours. moretextmaybe

I made about $32.13/hr on average this past week.

This was the first week that I was able to work all 7 days. Even with all of the days available, I wasn't able to pass last week's high score which was well over $700 in one week. I came very close and this still was my second-best week so far.

Doing it again next week 👀

I'm really hoping that next week I can finally hit that $800 in one week mark. That's the goal and I tend to achieve goals eventually.

Almost 650 usd? For a week? That's pretty damn good😅😅

Yeah I really can’t complain. I know many do not have opportunities as good as this. This is why I do my best to fulfill my potential earnings.

!LOLZ the dog at the end of the post makes me laugh. He might envy your earning for the week.

Good job, nice pay also. !PIZZA

I had a feeling somebody would enjoy that dog. As I was leaving the store with one of my orders, he was sitting there right next to me looking like he was about to commit grand theft doggo.

Flip, you are killing it with this "hustle"... better than a full-time job! I enjoy seeing the breakdowns... shows how profitable it can be if you get organized and just go...

The hourly pay is better than my previous full-time job. One of my favorite things is that I'm not required to work 40 hours and I can set my own schedule. 20 or so hours seems like the ideal sweet spot for having money and free time.

Yeah, that's the thing... it's literally a couple of hours a day!

Congrats on the hard work and money earned! I hope you meet your goal next week too.

Appreciate it, bro! I'm out here grinding away until these markets finally decide to blast off again.

I think, therefore I hope. Hopefully they take off in another run. I’m with you on that one!

Congrats on your achievements and for your effort!

Stupid Q maybe - what is Instacart?

Instacart is an application that allows customers to order their groceries and then have a personal shopper aka ME gather everything at the store and then deliver it to them.

I'm really hoping that next week I can finally hit that $800 in one week mark. That's the goal and I tend to achieve goals eventually.

I wish you success in achieving the goals

Thank you so much! I've got this 😎

a good weekly average even if you couldn't beat your mark from last week is still a good one

I'm still quite happy with how last week went.

You are doing good enough and I believe you can achieve your goal of $800 in one week very soon.

I appreciate your confidence in me. I must succeed!

Congratulations my friend, these are projects that little by little are making our life a better way and easier, I hope you reach your goal of $800. That in my country is too much hehehe Thanks for sharing your content.

Felicidades amigo son proyectos que poco a van haciendo de nuestra vida un mejor camino y mas fácil espero llegues a tu meta de 800$ Eso en mi pais es demasiado jejeje Gracias por compartir tu contenido.

Thank you my dear friend.

The first day and last day of the week are usually more productive. What do you think ?

It does seem that way. Monday not always though. Every Saturday and Sunday seems to be very busy though.
