RE: Hive's internal market has become much more user friendly thanks to HiveHub.dev

It's going to be a surprise to some, but many knew something like this had to be coming eventually. It will especially be nice for people who are first getting started on Hive. It's one less confusing thing that they have to deal with now.

That's cool. Do you have a clue on how to go about those percentage below the option? I see yours is placed at 0.5%.

The percentages below compensate for liquidity. When the market is less liquid you may need to increase the slippage, when the market is very liquid I can get orders with only 0.1% slippage. The default 0.5% should work just fine at the current environment.

When the market is less liquid

How can I know that the market is less or more liquid... in order to select the best slippage in each case?

The simplest way is to try to swap. If it fails it means there is no liquidity and slippage has to be increased. Lots of times the market is liquid enough for me to swap at 0.1% but sometimes at 0.1% it fails to me

All clear. Thanks 👍
