RE: Give, & It Shall Be Given Unto you

Oh I’d like to think they have no problem being financially literate, they just choose to ignore the fact that partnerships like marriage require teamwork on a financial front. Give then all the financial education you’ve got, and the “Your money is our money, but my money is my money” still will be there in trace amounts.

As for sensitizing your partner, I think it’ll be much better find people with the mindset you want already. Changing people’s mindsets is a hard thing to do, close to impossible sometimes. But with someone that already thinks like you, it’ll be easier to plan and cordinate your finances together.

I like your view points about people with the same mindset as you. However. If I begin to digress on the complications of this issue I might write another post in this comment section.
I don't know if it's an African thing alone but I think it's mostly an African time when it comes to issues as this. A lot of people do not believe marriage as partnership. However one of the biggest solution to this is to totally sanitize and sensitize the mindsets and mentality going forward.
However we can just choose to ignore and take care of her own situation. The end gold beetle eventually find that person and that right state, if not we might just grow old and still keep seeking

True. Finding the right person is difficult and this is probably one of the biggest reasons why some people stay in toxic relationships. Because of the fear that once they lose their “person”, they’ll never find another again.
