My splinterlands strategy:glints and reward cards

The end of the season in Splitterlands brought excitement with the introduction of glints and how to spend the rewards. The previous reward system was random and often provided rewards that were not desirable. However, the new reward system allows players to choose what they want, which is crucial since many are already strategizing how to spend their rewards. This new system gives players the power to select their rewards and make a significant impact.

The new reward system includes a feature that allows players to burn unwanted reward cards into glint. This means that even if a player receives a card they don't want, they can turn it in for glint instead of letting it go to waste. This has been well-received by players, especially top players, who have many duplicate cards and are now building a strategy around using glint to their advantage. This has already had an impact in the middle of the season, as many players have been burning reward cards for glint.

Glints to farm sps

During the middle of the season, one common strategy that many players adopt is burning soulbound reward cards for Glint. By using Glint to buy energy, players are able to play more games and earn SPS, which is especially beneficial for top players in the Modern league due to the high rewards. The option to burn reward cards for Glint has resulted in an increase in income for top players, even in the wild league some of the top players are now also resorting to burning reward cards for Glint in order to play more games and earn more sps as rewards.

This strategy is quite compelling. Ever since sps were removed from rewards, players have been questioning why and how the game decided to do so. However, the strategy in question presents a perfect way to farm SPS, and when the sps selloff ends, Removing sps from the reward will increase the scarcity, and also burning reward cards will make reward cards more valuable even if there is an overprint of the cards already but It's a good strategy, but I'm focusing on another one at the moment. I'm waiting to see how everything plays out in the coming days.

Holding my glints

At the moment, I am choosing not to use my Glint to purchase energy and play more for sps as I am currently playing at the highest level in the wild league Unfortunately, I do not possess the necessary cards required to compete at this level, and I also lack the SPS requirements. Although I could easily rent the required cards from the market, this would end up costing me more money. Additionally, by the time I use my Glint to buy energy, it may no longer be a worthwhile investment. My current strategy involves using my Glint to purchase more reward cards, which is why I plan on holding onto it for the time being.

splinterlands will soon be adding a new set of reward cards and now, my plan is to hold onto my glint and use it to purchase as many packs as possible for the new set. I believe this is the best strategy for now, but it may change in the future. If I acquire enough glint, I may use some of it to buy reward cards from the current set. However, my main goal is to save up for the new set of reward cards, which I think will be a good strategy in the long run..

Thanks for your time.

Oh wow you earned a good amount! Good going

Yeah, it was the payment for hardwork

It's an interesting strategy and you definitely earned a lot of Glint. I am still grabbing cards because my cards aren't maxed but I guess it depends on what they want. If they want SPS, then they can burn their cards. Otherwise whatever fits them best.
