I think you are right about the time and money value, otherwise the game has so many pools to invest in and almost get the same return as a player do, but indeed perks are different at higher levels and you don't know what will come out of a diamond chest.

It's all about buffing your team with special abilities, the more buff you own, the more chances your team get succeeded.
