The Rat Race; the Game of the Loaded Dice

Growing comes with a lot of responsibility and a lot of this responsibilities can be sorted with money. Money, a medium of exchange (coin, paper, crypto, and so on) which is used by a party to pay, or get what they need from another party.

Growing up as a child, my parents wanted me to go to school, so I could get a good job and be able to utilize the salary i get from the job to live and then start a family. Funny enough, our world has gone beyond such thinking not because people are tired of working or being employed but because of the unemployment rate.

Let me say something very quick. 95% of my school mates i have met are yet to find a white collar job which will be paying them salaries. A lot of people are trying to find their feet in other industries. A friend of mine just enrolled to learn coding saying that there isn't any job available.

U.B.I (Universal Basic Income)

I have read so many articles and I have seen people talk about Universal Basic Income, where the government pays citizens who are of the age of working a basic allowance so they can be able to attend to their basic needs such as food, shelter and clothing. This would have been a very good idea but then, how many government are willing to pay their citizens money to live (Not African Governments). The government is only interested in paying their way through elections with chicken feeds which people without hope are willing to collect so they can survive the moment. U.B.I is a NO for the government.

Can't the Government Afford U.B.I?

If everything was fair, I wouldn't support a Universal Basic Income System because it will make a few lazy people not work at all while they earn money which will help them survive but then when there is a large number of unemployed citizen, it could be an option. It is no doubt that so many countries are borrowing money from China especially African nations but I basically do not see a reason why so many African nations should be in debt they the leaders were honest.

Holding a government office in Africa is like building your own bank where you mint your money. It is surprising to see that a politician can claim to be gifted millions of dollars while being prosecuted for fraud. Funny enough, he was acquitted. When a nation has so many dollar millionaire politician but still regarded as a poor nation, then fraud is a regular business. Can the government afford to pay U.B.I?

If the government pay U.B.I, will it be worth it currently in my country?

Universal Basic Income will do the trick in a short term in my country but then inflation will kill things. In my country, Inflation has risen by 17% this year and that means that if people were dependent on UBI, they will still have to starve as the price of everything in the nation keeps increasing. Nothing is at the same price as it was 1 month ago and it keeps going from bad to worse.

What financial Education do I intend to give my child

I am very confused to what advice i will give my child. Okay James, go see tom and jerry you will learn a lot from it, or go see shark tank, the world we are are like the people who come to get investors who just want to own virtually every share of the company without doing much except throw money into the business.

Your Life revolves around finance but the game is not fair

Ask everyone you see, 95% of the people run the money race, and want to win the race but then it is like playing a loaded dice, as you always role the lowest figure and you keep trying again. The rat race which is in circle.
