I'm all for setting targets with actual dates. It instills confidence in the team.

If you miss them, it's not the end of the world as long as we have a track record of delivering in the end. Which the team definitely does.

Yeah development makes it impossible to forecast 100% but at least people know we are dealing with weeks and not months.
