Yeah, it's a commitment that's for sure. Right now they're like unopened packs in a lot of ways. They could contain legendary resources and worth a ton or be filled with a bunch of common stuff. Either way, I think they'll be much more valuable down the road once all the resources come out. I claimed mine a few weeks ago and am busy gathering DEC so I can buy the starter packages for them. I figure I waited this long I might as well see what I've got and give it a go. It's debatable how much they will end up being worth, especially if they all turn out to be common, which is most likely.
I am not investing anymore in the game. Also hated the soulbound cards and the fact that you can get multiple in one pack.
Did purchased my land when to got on sale, don't even remember anymore how much they did cost back then.
I am just waiting for an exit point, take my profit and run :)
