I always did see crypto as the money I could use to make life easier.
I did step into crypto just before the big winter did arrive, so I did have a massive profit with my first crypto investment. Massive profit % wise, not money wise. When the winter the arrive, I was cost averiging. Buying each month a little bit more.
Then spring and summer arrived. The question was what to do, leave it as it is and withdraw my investments from it. I decided to take the second route. Over the years I did swap some crypto into the real world waller. Mostly when going on a holiday, to fund the food and drinks.
Now, it has been some time ago that I did withdraw crypto, probably I will withdraw some this year with an expensive Kitchen renovation upcoming.
I never did dream that crypto would make me rich, but it could make life easier and that is what it did.
This will become harder and harder with Dac-8 around the corner where more and more regulations are in force. So it will be harder to withdraw crypto without waking up a tax office.
We will see what the future will bring, but I do know that I never will become life chanching for me, because I don't have enough crypto in the bags.
I have to admit that I did expect more real life use cases for crypto.
That's what I always hope for...Just make life easier with this stuff.
