My Hive Goals (Week 2, 2025)

in LeoFinance2 days ago

This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

Current State/Other Selection CriterionGoals Matching the Criterion
Ongoing4 (HBD in Savings - 5000 HBD, Social Targets, ZING Accumulation Target: 200k, new: Golem Overlord - Prestige 30)
Main Goals2 (HBD in Savings - 5000 HBD, Social Targets)
Goals2 (ZING Accumulation Target: 200k, new: Golem Overlord - Prestige 30)

HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD

This is a goal inherited from last year, but mostly intended for this year.

Nothing changed since last week. I used ALL my HBD author rewards to buy more HIVE.

Current situation:

Social Targets

Here are my social targets in 2025:

  • posting: at least 350 posts (max 1 per day) in 2025
  • commenting: an average of 81.25 comments per week (11.6 per day); this is at the beginning of the year, the average needed will change throughout the year;
  • publishing Week through Adrian's Lenses every week of 2025 (hopefully, maybe I can have 1 exception, under special circumstances)

Here's the current situation:

I have posted every day at the beginning of this year.

I also started the week with 21,411 comments made. Ended the week with 21519 which means I made 108 comments last week, which is better than the average needed. Note that I had a great start on this last year too, and ended up not completing 100% of the comments made goal. I currently need an average of 81 comments weekly to reach my target by the year end.

I already published my first two "Week through Adrian's Lenses" news roundup this year. Now at the 105th edition.

ZING Accumulation Target: 200k

Slow and steady. Everything fine for now.

Here's the current situation:

Started the week with 68,178 and finished it with 71,369. Made 3,191 this week, and I need an average of 2,580 ZING weekly to achieve this goal. So far this seems reachable, but we'll see how it evolves.

New Golem Overlord - Prestige 30

I decided to add a goal related to Golem Overlord this week, an idle+PvP style game (i.e. two different game modes, idle and PvP).

Crownrend - the new idle game on Hive - is too new and it's not easy for me to figure out what kind of targets to set for it yet (other than recouping the initial investment which can happen quite fast and many already did it).

My target is to reach prestige 30 by the end of the year. I haven't looked into how fast I upgrade prestige levels, but it's not a fast process for sure.

Why 30? Well, I am at prestige 20 (just upgraded), so I unlocked quests tier 5. I guess what I'm looking forward to at level 30, other than the bonuses at every increase of prestige level is the option to unlock the longer cooldown period (with a bonus to the base claim).

My tracking will be of the experience level, to see some movement from week to week, even if we will see massive drops when I upgrade to the next prestige level because of the 75% cut of XP when that happens.

The needed amount of XP for prestige 30 may have been updated since it was published in the Fandom wiki, but that's what I use.

Started with prestige 20 (and XP 10,544) in week 2.

Here's the current situation:

This week's XP: 10,544.

It's interesting to see a GO goal. Do you only get NFT rarity and claim bonus from going up after level 20?

Do you only get NFT rarity and claim bonus from going up after level 20?

It seems so. But that's good enough, I guess.

It's interesting to see a GO goal.

@ph1102 inspired me to add a GO goal. But he added a leaderboard goal, let's see if he keeps it or changes it, because a leaderboard goal is complicated to achieve, especially since he is already very high.

Thanks for the mention and the idea of following progress in the GO! I'm afraid that if I change it to Prestige, it would be even harder... lol...

So, I will stick with the ranking goal... It's more challenging as to what others will do, and if I fail, well, I can always blame others... 😂 🤣

Oh, ok. You might be right about being unrealistic until the end of the year. I'll see soon enough. Maybe I'll need to adjust it to something like level 25.

Oh, it looks like I missed your first, initial post for #MyHiveGoals... Anyways, prestige is a nice metric to follow and tbh, I use all my earnings and focus to build that up ASAP... At the moment, I'm at level 26, but it was a while when I upgraded from 25... So, it is a slow process...

Good luck with your goals!!! 💪

So, you think it would be very difficult to make it to prestige 30 this year? It might be. It is more than a wish than a calculated goal, where I take into account if it is attainable or not. Within a few weeks or months I'll probably know if it is attainable or not.

I'm not sure how Prestige "progress" is calculated... For example, I can't get my head around this...
Reputation
3266/3400

So, I can burn a max of 3400 PARTs that will "work" for my reputation and will grow my prestige...

For a long time, the limit was at 3150, and I have no idea what I did to raise it to 3400... A higher limit would mean faster progress, but I'm not sure how to make that limit higher... Tbh, I didn't research all the parts of the game as there are many things happening... lol...

I actually tried to look for that information before I set my goal and couldn't find anything. Thought that was the max, lol. Mine is 2525, so you are way ahead on this one.

I suppose that you get bigger "steps" after reaching new levels... But, not sure if it happens after every Prestige upgrade, or every second...

I found out more info in the meantime. But it will still be very difficult to complete this goal this year. I'll probably either have to make it a multi-year goal or slash the level number to a more manageable one. We will see.

So, what I found out. You can increase the max rep conversion rate in 3 ways, beyond the 50 xp/h point:

  • via Faith, after level 600 (very difficult for me to reach that)
  • via modules that give a % to max rep conversion (they are expensive)
  • via guild training

Thanks for sharing your findings!!! I will try to tweak some of those... :)
