You might have heard about Safemoon. Well if you haven't, it did an 100x in few days after it launched. Less than 24 hours ago, a seventeen year old Tiktok influencer and celebrity, Matt Lorion, with over 1.2 million followers as well as 18.6m likes launched his own crypto project named Strite Finance (STRI). The presale sold out in less than 30 seconds in the Telegram group which now has almost 10k subscribers as at the time of writing this.
Prior to the launch of his own project, armed with the power of social media, Lorion has helped other projects including Safemoon to build hype and create awareness. He’s been involved, too, with the marketing of other projects, including one that turned out to be a scam. Perhaps, this is why he is launching his own project to correct the abnormalities in some of the projects he had helped to promote in the past.
The details about Strite Finance are still very sketchy, although Lorion promised to hold an AMA today with a roadmap for the project to be released soon. For now, the project appears to combine the characteristics of DeFi and that of an NFT marketplace. Also, the team plans to build some utilities around the project in the near future.
In addition, plans are underway to list the token on Coingecko.com and Coinmarketcap.com including some of the decent exchange. Being a project that is built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), for now it is only available on Pancakeswap with the following contract address 0x9b93c29595dd603f75854eba3c5f4ee078ee4454. The presale price for STRI was about 10 cent, got listed on Pancakeswap at $1, reached a peak of $2.4 in few hours before retracing to the current price of $1.5 level.
With the social media influence at the disposal of the young and adventurous Lorion, a wild frenzy might develop around STRI in the few weeks ahead and we might see a 10-50x from here, not a financial advice anyways. Please do your own research.
