Alien worlds does use very much of your CPU, and that can damage your device badly in the long term. I tried it for a day, and while I was mining the tlm my CPU was used 100%, I could hear my pc working in an overdrive ... So I would say, be careful with that.

I am not sure so it actually does that. It only really mines for like maybe 10 seconds-20 seconds on average for me. So its first I heard about this issue.

I made a screenshot while I was mining. It took about 60 seconds to mine that time. And I know you'll see a lot of processes running, 195, I checked all of that. And of course, everybody knows Windows runs many processes in the background. But, those didn't take that much of my CPU. The one thing that took that much power of my CPU was alienworld.
I hope I'm wrong ... but I didn't dare to go through with it. I don't have the money to repair or replace my pc.
