Conviction or Curse: How Scams Stole the Altcoin Spotlight

just when I thought we're close to something glorious in this cycle those scams started pilling up like the dust piles up when you left the window open.

It all started with Gary gensler Stepping down and trump administration being in power is like criminals in crypto roaming around us free and are ready to rob anytime they want and there won't be any consequencs.

It's more like a rant on this market because I've lost it all at once.

Why even Hold Altcoins When it's Bitcoin Cycle

It doesn't make any sense to say this now because where was these people back in 2023? Back then Altcoins still had juice like those used to pump and went up a lot

When I said a lot I mean it, I still remember how Ai narrative picked up and Altcoins went 2x or more back in early 2023.

Coins like RUNE went from less than $1 to above $10, Ai narrative coins that include RNDR went up from $0.6 to $14 and ONDO went from $0.09 to $2

And that doesn't mean only few of these coins ran up hard, it was Hive too in Q1, majors like BCH, LTC and others also followed

It all went wrong after Pump fun

It's too late to realise this but it's a fact that pump fun robbed altcoins season from us, this post halving year should've been a lot better if it wasn't trump, Melania, Libra and pump fun entirely never existed in the first place.

About a half billion dollar is just gone forever and sitting at pump fun Dev wallets, around $110m in Libra scam, add couple of billions more combining trump, Melania and other meme rugs

We've been robbed big time in this cycle and there's not that much fresh liquidity available to pump our coins.

I'll still hold altcoins that I have conviction most

At this point I'm just holding everything I've to zero no matter if a giant asteroid hit the market tomorrow

That's the kind of conviction I've in the altcoins and this is the exact reason why I've lost about 90% of portfolio since this downtrend started

I know it's not the cycle top but still I should've took profits when it really made sense and I'm just cursing myself about it almost everyday cause I know how it's like going to work everyday and still being down in the market.

Anyways when the market will make it's comeback I'm sure this time I won't be late taking profits - if so my Altcoins reach to the break even point and go higher than that

But before that happens if it turned into a bear market.. it'll be like wasted years of my life.

Wrapping Up...

In the end I'm little bit impatient and won't be able to make a right decision if something happen with market in coming days.

I'd be more happy if it push for highs instead of bleeding to those critical support below $90k. I wonder what do you think will happen first; new all time highs or more lower? Do share your thoughts in the comments.
