RE: How Crypto Is Breaking Governmental Facades and Expunging Its Mindless Aim To Control.

in LeoFinance2 years ago

The struggle between the crypto community and governments has only just begun.

I do hope that hive will stay a lot longer in the shadows, because we better be prepared when governments start to try to regulate what we do here.

I love playing splinterlands and I really hope that won’t be seen as work. Otherwise I might have to pay a lot of tax.

As long as it is an just an investment asset, then it is not so bad. But if doing the Daily missions and grinding for end of season rewards or renting cards to other players would be seen as work, then that cost a lot of tax here in the Netherlands.

Still, it is a lot better than every transaction being a taxable event or forbidden. Those are probably the worst.

Wow this is a serious situation. I do not know that it is possible to tax even a game that ends your income such as splinterlands. As for Hive, staying under the radar for too long will not do us good.
I think every venture that has to relate with blockchain or cryptocurrency at one point in time we face government regulation
And this is because I can only see an upward movement, mass adoption and thriving driving blockchain projects.
We're preparing for a lot in the future.

it will be a long time before they figure out how splinterlands works, but play2earn gets more and more attention
