Actually I am not as big a fan of deflationary coins because while prices may go up, its bad for the activity of the block chain itself. It's the reason why I truly do think BTC will go up but it won't be the main chain people use.

Depends on the network and what it is trying to achieve. For Luna's stability deflationary will work well as it provides incentive for both investors and to maintain the peg.
