Can You Make A Living On InLEO?

It was really exciting when I first discovered this place....

I was hooked. Literally on day one. There was something different about the promise of this blockchain and after 7 years here there are times I question it but when push comes to shove....I do believe this place can be the future of major success for me personally.

And there was something I always thought would eventually be possible here....To make a living off my effort!

What a dream that would be :)

Working when I wanted. On topics that I was passionate about. While supporting a community that supported me, and vice versa. And that future I do believe can be had here on InLeo specifically.

Now there's lots that need to happen first but the path is being laid and foundation being built. And there was a short little video on X that I saw earlier today from @khaleelkazi which gave me some inspiration for this post!

Can we make $1000 a month from this platform?

For most of us in the western world, 1000 bucks a month isn't going to let us make a living from this blockchain. But the foundation again, is being built. And I'm an entrepreneur at heart so I live by a lot of 'what ifs' in my life lol I throw things against the wall and see what sticks most times and baby...I've been THROWING my all into this blockchain for 7 plus years now.

So how do we earn 1000 bucks a month here?

Watch the video from Khal, you can see that his focus is on creator subscriptions. And we're seeing that in the web 2 world as being 'a thing' and a big thing at that. There are loads of content creators on traditional social media making a killing with their content but until LEO / Hive reach some better numbers of active users, I'm not sure creator subscriptions are going to be a stable income.

Yet.

And I say yet because of like I said....The foundation is being built. This is why for years I've been screaming at the top of the mountain, to anyone that listens, to build your relationships and subscribers now. Before the flood of new accounts and we are seeing these numbers steadily increase over the past few months.

We aren't at any critical mass level here for adoption, and I still think there is plenty of work to be done. But we need to build the foundations now and start thinking what this place will look like in a few years from now....

Here's a few things I will be working on to eventually (hopefully) make a living off my efforts here....

1. Build my $LEO stake up...Big! This is critical for me because I believe in this platform. And right now, LEO is only a few pennies. What happens when it's worth a dollar or two. And you are a top token holder? Instant influence and the power to spread the token out to more people.

2. Curate, engage, repeat! I've been trying to do a much better job of this over the past few months. 2024 was the year I got my offline life in order (sorta) and that's taken the bulk of my time up. But every chance I get, I'm engaging with others. Curating Threads. Making sure I do everything I can to get that token out to more people.

3. Work on Creator Subscriptions...Again! It's been a dream of mine to get more #jongojems out there to the masses, so 2025 will see me revisit and replan my attack for my subscribers. 100 subs is $1000 bucks a month. Now without more adoption and more people coming to the blockchain and platform, this won't happen right away. But again, build a foundation first!!

4. Slowly Grow My $HIVE....Again. Something that became very evident to me over the past few days, especially seeing the new proposal from InLeo....This community needs more Hive power to dictate things we want to see happen on the mother chain. And because I was so pissed off at the powers that be on Hive, I sold a big chunk of my stake last year. Welp....I wanna see LEO win, and that requires LEO holders to have a bigger voice! The uphill grind starts again!

5. Build Cool Stuff! Not exactly sure I'll attack this in 2025 because I've learned one very important lesson on any platform I've ever been a part of. Want to get value, give value! So that means I need to find something I can do for the platform as a whole. My little pet project in 2025 will be to see what I can build or create that gives the most value to this platform.

So can we make a living off this blockchain stuff?

Sure....If you are rich. Have loads of crypto. Were an OG on the blockchain. Top 20 witness, etc.....But what about every day 9 to 5'ers like myself? I do think it's in the future for anyone that puts their blood, sweat and tears into this place. I've seen amazing things in my 25 plus years of being in online business and most it starts with....A desire and passion for what you do!

So if you like this place...If you think LEO has a massive future....Now is the time to build that solid foundation!
