There's a lot of disagreement amongst crypto faithful. Some people believe the bull run is here, some people feel that without the altcoins joining BTC's massive pump we don't have a bull run yet. Others are completely undecided, and of course, there are those who are spectators, unsure of what's really happening.
I think everyone is right in whatever they believe in, and this is because everyone who has experienced two or three market cycles has a different perspective or opinion of what season we currently are, and this is because of their previous experiences. Experience cannot be bought with money, and it's one of the most important ingredients that helps people navigate their way in the market.
For me, I think the bull run is officially here, we just need the alts to play catch up for a few months, and we'll see a full-blown run.
Cannot Leave Hive Out Of The Discussion
If you're here, you cannot talk about the bull run without mentioning our own native Hive. We like to compare it a lot to other chains, to other crypto projects, and most especially, Bitcoin. However, I'm not going to do this. I was checking randomly hive-engine and I discovered that my voting power is now above the $1 range.
In fact, at 88% it's currently at $1.15 so I decided to check hivestsats.io where I can manually turn my slider, and I got $3 at 100% this is probably not correct as some of the stats on the site aren't correct, things like your stipulated 20% APR on HBD savings.
However, I'm going to use the stat on Hive-engine to refer to. I reckon that at 100% my vote weight is likely to be around $1.25 or thereabout, not I'm certain it won't be less. So at $0.44 my vote weight at 100% is likely to be at around $1.25 which translates to about 3 Hive at 100%.
At $0.88 Hive, my vote weight doubles to about $2.50, and around $1 Hive, it might just be at $3. So if I looked at $3 Hive, this would be roughly $9 vote, plus or minus. This is a rough estimation, but I'm certain the actual figures will not be too far from this.
For now
These figures are also tentative because even if Hive does 3$ it'll still take about 12 months or a little bit more for this to happen and of course, my voting power will have grown more than it is currently in 12 months, which makes $10 or $11 at 100 vote weight a possibility in 12 months (Not that I know the future, or certain about it, anything can happen before 12 months) I'm currently taking my life one day at a time and I'm not really banking on any occurrence as I've come to learn that life oddly changes, and completely too, different from how we initially planned it.
I'm only doing these calculations and permutations just to buttress my point. For someone who used to play my cards on futuristic occurrences. The death of my only brother and my current health condition have taught me to only take what the present brings, one day at a time. However, being calculative and predictive is an old habit, and it suffices once in a while.
However, for posterity's sake, these calculations are possible for people with some decent stake, especially if Hive can replicate the figures it did in 2021. I believe Hive can at least hit $3 even if it doesn't hit its previous ATH. $3 Should just about be possible, especially because we got better than we were 3 years ago, and at these prices, a lot of people will see a huge increment in their vote weight.
For example, the Curangel account could give about $800 worth of votes at 100% when Hive was at $3.4, I know this because I got equivalents of its downvotes in 2021.
The OCD account could easily go $500 back then, it was a crazy thing in 2021.
Hopefully, Hive will finally begin to move even better very soon. If you are not powering down and haven't done so in a while and you leave a comment under this post, I'll leave you a decent percentage of my vote weight.

I’ve actually got a similar post in draft myself. Got mine to .72 at 100% which is crazy for me! I remember when hive hit ATH and my vote was 1.0 but I had like 12k hive power. Thinking I’ve tripled that amount, I will definitely be shocked what it could be as we keep going higher. This is just at a meager .43$ for hive right now.
I’m indeed torn as to what this is - run up and crash or continue? Uncharted territory here!
Congratulations to you too. I was obsessed in the past with getting my vote weight to 1$ and above, that was why I powered up a lot in the past. I think I did it in the last bull run. I think if hive does some great figures, you might get yours to the $5 or 6$ range.

Congratulations. I am nowhere close to it yet but I do think that Hive going up is great for us here. It does hurt us a bit as we earn more HBD and less Hive though. All that Hive adds up over time and it's amazing to think what value our vote might have when Hive prices go up even further.

I guess our Jose is now among our whale on Hive with over $1 at 100% vote weight. When Hive goes up more, there would be much vote weight percentage on posts. You said something about powering down, I'd wanted to do two days ago as I needed to have some liquid Hive in readiness for the bull run, but I changed my mind and cancelled it. I guess I should continue converting my Hbd to Hive while the alts should keep playing and catching up gradually.
Well, it depends. I just feel that with more hive power, people gets to support others and also help the network. I also sold some HBD for hive and powered up. Sometimes it's not even about having it's just about wanting to help others grow by staking constantly. Hive run hasn't even started yet, it's probably just beginning and over the next 12 months, it might be different.
